Nice tips! One issue I have found in Dataflows has to do with a Date column in my database, having a locale format different from american usual format. The error I had gave me no clue, but changing to text type in SQL query and then transforming to date back in power BI did the trick. Pretty annoying.

Here’s a new one for me. Dataflow refreshes just fine over a table in our database. No additional steps in power query editor. When I connect to the dataflow in my dashboard, the data doesn’t match to the dataflow online or my table in the database. I’ve refreshed (no errors), checked power query editor online for the dataflow and within the dashboard. Doesn’t match. I’m stumped.

Hi Roland, thanks for the content. At 5'00'' you said M code might behave differently in PBI Desktop and in dataflow. I'm experimenting this and it's quite tricky, however, I agree with you, it shouldn't be considered an issue. For ex., numerical value are treated differently (dot and comma, depending on locale), so are empty columns loaded from Excel data sources. In add, this week I'm facing issues on SAVING a dataflow after editing it. In the PBI Community, I read that MS support has recognized it as official issue

i have encountered errors like "We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again". But i have previously work with the report and am still able to open the dataflows in power bi online. Any one knows how to fix this?

Hi Roland, the auto-refresh of my dataflow is blocked, beacouse I got the error message in refresh history: "Error: PipelineException: This query is too complicated to run. . Param1 = PipelineException: This query is too complicated to run." - I have a PPU licence - The table in dataflow contains only one merge and only one append - So, nothing specific, anyway it is blocked Do You have any idea / workaround on it?
