Love the ideas for pre-writing journal. I have done similar activities but never thought to do them in a journal.

Thank you! It's fun to keep them altogether and have a keepsake for parents at the end of the year! Plus it's less individual papers floating around, too.

I completely agree with you. I teach preschool, Pre-k 3, and we start our fine motor journals the second week of school. It is so helpful and the parents love seeing the progress.
