Someone "negativized" it, took away the H in shame, and so it became (Y) S ame. I don't get to explain memes at all to strangers on the internet, so you're welcome I guess?

Even as he was preparing them to play the piece, I could tell he was a really super-nice conductor. Basically, he said, "The best way to do well is to look at where you will mess up, and then don't. But, if you do, no problem. We'll just stop and do it again. No pressure."

Can someone tell me the story behind this? Dr. Thompson is my director for CYE's Philharmonic Orchestra and Wind Symphony. "Dammit that notes too long!! They're gonna be late to the second bar!" I about died laughing. Might I just add Dr. Thompson is about the best conductor!!! Ever. :D

Luckily, the song is one that everyone in that band already knew. Literally, the day of the prank, the person who orchestrated it came into the band room at the start of class, before the director got there, and told us we were going to it, so actually not much practice at all haha

Essentially what they did was they played the wrong piece of music on purpose. He wanted them to play Music A but they played Music B, if that helps at all
