Not true. Their score was almost exactly similar yet the Powkiddy is so much cheaper. Imo if you want the most bang for your buck go with Powkiddy

I love these in-depth comparisons! You get a lot for the V90 especially since how cheap it is. However, I got a PSP go in good condition and haven't even thought about any other devices. Would be cool to see a video comparing the psp go to the 3ds

The battery may vary because the psp go is out for a long time . And batteries degrade over time even with no use(although significantly less if rarely used). So the battery in the psp go may be good or it can be bad. The powkiddy on the other hand is a newer device and its not used before. So yeah,the battery comparison can be a tie. I really love this channel,man. Subbed

Awesome and informative video man. The quality of your content is amazing. I recently and finally picked up a couple of psp go’s. One black one in used condition and one white one in near mint condition. I feel like too much of a wuss to use the white one. Feel like im going to scratch it haha

Excellent job. I own multiple V90s with spare batteries (intend to give 2 of them to my nephews as gifts). I wanted to get the PSPGO a couple years ago but went with a VITA instead. I don't regret my purchases as the V90 can play more than enough games perfectly for the price and remains the ONLY GBA SP form factor Chinese handheld (Funkey S is too small imo to qualify as usable).

I'm just getting into the handheld emulation hobby with a V90 & I have already ordered a second higher capacity card (128GB), higher capacity (1500mah) battery and a 10,000mah usb powerbank I don't think runtime will be an issue for me. I plan to setup the custom firmware on the second card & I may get another card to use the V90 more as a mp3/mp4 player. not to dis the PSP GO but I like the expandability of the V90 (even if it's just the memory card & battery

Hey - I think the vita is great. Especially the version with the OLED screen. But its much bigger than the PSP Go so I end up using the go more often as I like playing retro gameboy advanced games at the moment.

Nice Im a huge PSP fan I have like 20 consoles all kinds and my to go is the psp go. I wish it had a bigger battery but im gonna work on a battery mod hopefully to double the mah on it

Having owned so many retro handhelds and emulation devices the psp go has been my favourite, the psp and ps1 library is immense and performance is obviously flawless, but the slim form factor curved edges are really way more pocketable and the slide/close/suspend feature while seamingly small is what makes it treat like the steam decks ability to just pop a pc game into standby and resume at a whim is absolutely key. Bluetooth support for headphones as well, setting up cfw and transferring isos and roms is a breeze as well. I got a mint condition psp go for £70 and it has been one of my favourite handheld devices ever

You can connect a DualShock 3 controller throught Bluetooth to the PSP Go (idk about PS4 controller) and you can close the lid or whatever and play PSP games with PS3 controllers, also you can buy the cables to connect it to a TV or the official Craddle to charge and hook up to TV at the same time, very neat, PSP Go is the best PSP nowadays, basically you can turn it into a hybrid before the Switch ever excised!

Powkiddy V90 is only $40. Considering the performance and the form factor (similar to GBA), its the better value and choice. Keep in mind, the Powkiddy has custom firmware support for better performance in the future.

I don’t really like the swapped diagonal button layout and the way the side of your palms cover the speakers on it which don’t sound great also, while overall the plastic looking far low quality. The Gameboy Advance SP, the inspiration to their design, has the speaker grills in the middle where hands won’t cover them. It’s certainly better value comparing against the PSP Go, but not the better choice since you can get the original PSP for $45 while having external memory storage that while proprietary, isn’t expensive to get ahold of since it was a standard for Sony cameras of the time with a port existing on some of their Vaio laptops.

actually you can run cfw on v90 and that solves the power off problem all you gotta do is powering off the console though you most certainly need to save before exiting

Definitely the deal breaker for v90 is the fact that the battery is replaceable. I dont want a device thats unplayable because the battery is hard to replace. I was choosing between miyoo mini and v90, specs wise miyoo but i still chose v90 bcoz of the battery. I am not expecting more for a cheap device but play gb, gba, fc, sfc.

For anyone wondering. The v90 has a custom firmware available that makes running PS1 games way smoother.

Exactly! It plays any ps1 I want. Even on stock firmware if one knows what settings to use within its emulator setting (which is super easy to access), but the custom firmware out made them even better than before!!!!

V90 is better I own all three colors. Get black one. Has slightly new stock firm on it. You also have cases to better firmware if you don't want to use stock. Ps1 can play very well if one uses the settings in the system emulator :) slot forget how to do that. Frameskip 1 corrects some games without messing it up. I love the v90s. Three dollar battery upgrades. SD card slot to improve space. I have a rgb20s and still go to my v90

I think the PSP Go is too valuable and rarer to just bring along everyday for daily use and be subjected to wear and tear. I think that should be a factor as well.

I have both a anbernic rg351p and a 3ds (2011) and I find myself using both quite often for gba, though the rg351p is winning lately. If you like gba, both are worth it, the anbernic being a bit better (adding games is straightforward and huge battery life) If you are looking to play ds games, then the 3ds wins, no contest. I had a PSP GO but I would only take it for psp and psone games, though I actually prefer the anbernic for ps1 emulation.

@@rewire7899 I would say to check their other options before you pick one, for example, their rg280m is one of the most charming devices I ever seen, so it is a nice collectable even if you end up not playing it often.

Begged my parents to get me the psp go for Christmas when I was young. Got to play it for half a year and they stopped letting you download games. Sat on a shelf for years and finally sold it like 3 years ago for 60$ with my vita. Now buying a new psp go is more expensive then buying a vita

Here in Australia the PSP go is about 6x the price of a powkiddy v90... I know where my money would be going! At this stage I have an ROG Ally and a retroid pocket 2, the ROG ally is great but not something I can keep in the pocket of my work bag to have with me. And the retroid pocket 2 I just don't enjoy the form factor or the clicky tactile non rubber membrane d pad! I use it for GBA Pokemon romhacks mostly. I am considering finding my original SP and flashing some romhacks on gba carts or using an everdrive/ez flash to play them

Hey - yeah its annoying that the SNES emulation isn't perfect. A lot of the more popular SNES games have had GBA versions released so that may be able to help. GBA emulation is really good.

yes. That is if your main goal is to emulate psp. If you are looking for a cheaper option to play nes and gba games. I would say its worth it

Jokes on you psp go lover, psp go has a 930 mah battery... 1800 for fats 1200 for slims. Psp go is more power efficient than v90 though 4 hours is average with less battery capacity
