I'm loving Nb too. But alot of the collabs or just special ones are retailing at 220-230$ the joe fresh goods, the 990v6 silver blue that looks like the yeezy inertia colorway. But yea im here for them too. I'm 42 by the way, lol

I've been wearing the 580 for over 10 years. I've always thought this was a slept on model. The 580 has nice colorways, and the shoe is comfortable, and durable. Some pairs have really nice suede. Never understood why these have been slept on.

Most of my sneakers are NBs, but this is my first ever 580 silhouette/model. Once I saw Kith had the collab, I jumped on them. Didn't get them for retail unfortunately. But the materials and the color looked so dope, I was willing to pay resale for them. Still waiting for them to arrive, but reviews like this make me happy that I was not the only one to see how nice they are. Great review!

The 580 and 999s have always been two of my favorite silhouettes from NB. They were basically not made, at least very rarely for a few years and hard to find here in Europe. Nowadays there are great color ways on sale everywhere and I’m ecstatic about it. And with the huge popularity of 2002r, 1906, etc I’m just pumped that we get more than just my beloved 574s and extremely expensive 990s.

Have to visit one of their stores, went to LA a couple years back and had to stop at its location, it was literally underground. It felt so exclusive with security everywhere. Loved it, plus the ice cream 👌

The New Balance retail store is where I figured out my shoe size. I know other stores do it but they have a machine that provides details on foot shape, etc, which would be helpful if you're not sure of your size. As far as the QOTD, I hate paper cuts (especially from boxes 😣) but a stubbed toe is a different kind of struggle when you're on your feet all day for work.

Bought my 580 last Christmas in a Footlocker branch in South Korea. I had to choose between the 580 and the Nike Air Huarache. And I tell you it was a tough decision. But I'm glad I chose the 580. Inside the shoe on the tag it says "THE INTELLIGENT CHOICE". 👍😊

I always been rocking NB's 574 since the 90's. Crazy colorways. 801 All Terrains were dope! A couple years ago found 580 GORETEX at a Ross for $30!!!! NB has got to be a staple in the shoe rotation!

QOTD: Paper cut. Especially from a cardboard box. I commented on the last New Balance review (1090r) that I'm from DC, so New Balance is not a secret to me. They've always had great materials and quality. Their recent colorways (and especially collabs) are showing a ton of creativity and willingness to push their brand beyond grey 99Xs and J. Crew 574 colors. It's much appreciated. Speaking of much appreciated, thanks for the review! You got my like up there, and here's my comment right here.

Great video, I own Nike, Jordans, Adidas, Puma, and others, but my favorite shoes, as far as comfort, have gotta be my New Balance pairs. From 990's, 2002R's,9060's, 57/40's, all of them are mad comfortable! I've seen 580's but haven't tried a pair yet. That is going to change soon. Thanks for another dope video from Weartesters!

I always bought everything but Newbalance for years. But the last few years I got into them and it is CRAZY how good their materials are. The quality and materials are second to none. Why the hell are they able to care about what people buy and put on their feet. The other brands only do it if it's a collab or possibly a premium version. Even with some of the premium versions of Nikes or Jordan's they aren't even consistent. Sad. And they wonder why their quarterly earnings are not up there. I just want to know if I spend $90 on a shoe I get a $90 shoe. If I spend $250 on a shoe I don't want to get a $90 shoe. You picking up what I'm putting down? Wear testers...... GOAT 🐐 for reviews !! Keep doing it and I'll keep watching !!!! Don't ever think your content is not appreciated.

Damn, these look soooo good. The keep releasing so many good 574 and 580 colourways. There's a set of 574s made with cordura and all of the colours are amazing. Stubbed toes are the worst, I've broken toes numerous times because people leave shit sticking out.

Struck out on these as always, but stoked that NB is getting some play on the channel - while Nike's quality is going down and prices are up, New Balance stays consistent. Grown man shoes

Agree with her, TTS in every single NB silo except Made in UK. Half size up on those almost universally. The lasts run thin.

I usually don’t mess with NB because they don’t do size 12.5 in many models so good to know down half a size is an option here. QotD: I gotta go with stubbing a toe. My feet often ache as is so anything that adds to that or makes it worse is brutal.

I’d say my best quality sneaker purchase this year is the China’s exclusive Year of the Dragon Air Force 1. The material is top notch, probably the most well executed pair this year in my opinion. It’s more of a masterpiece than a footwear though.

Try the Diadora v7000 x Footpatrol "Macchiato". Made in Italy and with suede that's truly top notch. Remarkably high quality. And in case you wonder, you can remove the paint at the back of the midsole with aceton. I did that because I preferred a completely white midsole. Was released like 5 years ago, and nowadays the resell prices are like the release price.

I'm bummed with NB since where I'm located, stores only have until size US 12 (and that fits TOO tight on me weirdly enough, both lengthwise and widthwise). I'd love to cop a pair of different NB though sigh. Thanks for letting me watch something I'll never have locally Nightwing!

Great review. Really enjoy having this sneaker. there's one caveat for me though. the sock liner in the product photos looks like a deep purple. But they're actually a grayish blue.... nonetheless comfortable and Premium

Very often experienced size topic with new balance. Go down half a size for premium retro and go through the aura or even up half a size for performance models. Tisza stability the only area where Nike still surpasses New Balance. For the rest, Nike continue to sink and New Balance continues its ascent to the top

I tend to stick with the 990v3's and 993's for comfort ( I go down a 1/2 size for these ). Anyone know if these are these just as comfortable? They look nice.
