This was great! I love the hidden gems (Honorable Mentions) Never used a rental car in Mexico before, but that will be something new to try. All of these places take plastic, or do you need local currency?

This trip was actually my first time renting & driving a car in Mexico! For Tulum I thought it was very necessary, especially since taxi’s will charge like $50-$100 usd per ride, it’s insane. And I only got pulled over once 😂 Most of the restaurants take card, some of the smaller cafes and spot will ask for cash, it’s best to always have a little on you :)

Hey there :) good question! To be honest I've only ever stayed in aldea zama. I think its a good location, very nice, clean and walkable. I hope this helps & have so much fun in Tulum!

I use a Sony ZV-E1 no color grading, no luts. I just point, shoot and post :)

Honestly it’s a scam lmao and pretty annoying that they up-charged us by hundreds of dollars when we arrived. I actually talk about it all in my Mexico vlog!
