BEST ROAD TRIP IN AUSTRALIA? (Perth - Exmouth)

My partner and I (from North Queensland) decided to hire a van for 10 days and travel the west coast of Australia. We clocked up over 3000km in 10 days driving from Perth to Exmouth and back! It was very hectic and a little rushed, but overall it was such an awesome trip!
Hope you enjoy this video and it inspires you to just pack your bags and send it for a holiday, even if it's for a small amount of time!
A list of all the things we got up to..
Perth - Rottnest Island, The pinnacles
Lancelin - Sand dunes
Kalbarri - Sky walk and Coastal Cliffs
Shark Bay - Big lagoon
Exmouth - Whale Shark Tour, Cape Range National Park, Turquoise Bay, Ningaloo Reef
Coral Bay

This was in June. I'd definitely recommend the winter time! Weather was absolutely mint this time of year, barely seen a cloud for the entire 10 days!

Amazing video 👌 we're planning a very similar trip ourselves. Would you recommend the van? We were wondering where you used the toilet and shower? Is it easy enough to find places along the road? Thanks!

Thank you! Yeah the Apollo van was good. Plenty of campgrounds along the way and public toilets. We stayed in powered sites every couple of nights to recharge everything. You will have to book the popular caravan parks in advance though, we didn't and almost all of them were fully booked out in the popular places like exmouth and coral bay.

What time of year did you travel mate? You mentioned the cold a fair bit - planning a trip myself at the moment so would be great to know the better times to travel :)
