Picked up the Liberate Nitro 2 for £55 and the Magnify Nitro 2 for £89 from start fitness. Just wish Puma would make their uppers a bit more breathable.

I grabbed a pair of Velocity Nitro 2 and they're a extremely comfortable squishy long run shoe. I did pick them up for only £32 from Sports Direct, when their get down 🎉one size discount algorithm goes mad. Did learn a valuable lesson from these, always remove the insole before trying on. The cardboard shaper had creased the edge of the insole which caused so real discomfort. The problem was easily fixed by removing the insole, rubbing flat and reinserting.

I got a pair too. This will be my third pair of the VN2 and I was deciding between VN3 and SL2 but at £32 couldn’t say no to this previous version. I do find the Puma long - I am normally 4.5 in running shoes and go for 4 with still a big thumb at the end. Tempted by DN Elite 3 - does anyone know if the sizing is the same?

@@samrit5184 I've got both the DN2 and VN2 both are great. They kind of gave me Rincon 3 vibes when I first slipped them on, both very easy to run in. Don't worry about sizing, the VN2 seems long but when you get running the extra room keeps your toes happy.

Figured I would share my recent finds. Here in the US, there is an athletic retailer that has an outlet store for overstock items. My recent pickups include 1. Boston 12's - 2 pairs, both around 85 dollars 2. Invincible 3 - I love these personally 2 pairs under 95 dollars each 3. Glycerin 21 Stealth - under 100 4. Asics Cumulus 25 - 85 dollars 5. Vomero 17's - around 80-90, depending on color 6. Nike Streakfly, around 100. Others I didn't buy 1. Hoka Bondi 8 - 89 dollars but awful color 2. Mizuno Wave Neo Wind - 65 dollars - not for me but huge discount 3. Brooks Hyperion - 80 4. Kayano 30 - 90 dollars 5. Pegasus 40 - easily found for under 80 dollars Im sure im missing quite a few finds. I managed to scratch my shoe itch via last years models or off colors for nearly half price for most of my rotation and get 2nd pair backups on the shoes i really enjoyed. I should be set right now for the next 3000 miles of running..... yes, i have a problem. For those wondering, the store is Going Going Gone which is the outlet for Dick's Sporting Goods.

Ah more shoe bargain bangers, it's cheaper than cycling though. Loving the deviate Nitro 2's for 109 after one of your reviews, delivery took an age from runnerinn though, I'll think twice before using them again. No decent local shops left near me unfortunately 😔

In the US, Amazon has the Asics Magic Speed 3 on sale for $109. Great shoe for tempo runs, intervals, long runs. Probably everything but easy miles.

Have to second the recommendation for the Velocity Nitro 2. Just ran 16mi long in the rain on Thames tow paths. Comfortable daily and long run shoe with great grip. My first pair was still fine after 800mi. Won't need this bargain as I still have pair #3 (£50) pair in the box:-)

My cadence on an easy run today was 194 and when I raced Wednesday it was 201. In my head the idea of being a stride runner doesn't compute. A2 F2. Enter, illegal move!

I think with long legs turnover is that bit harder. I never get much about 18#. But the stride does increase the faster I’m going. Small wheels on the van, big wheels on the Jag. 🤣

I've seen the More 4 last 48 hours on NB site itself for 70 smackerellas... but now only limited sizing opposed the 85 above at sportshoes you mention. I do have a pair and found the sizing was large and I actually didn't get on with it at all. I still love the Metaspeed Sky+ and have limited mileage on one - like not even 25 miles - and over 200 miles on the other. The Paris is a bit out of the question at the moment but massively looking forward to having a taste.

The More V4 is a shoe to learn folks. I bought them for recovery runs. Very soft, quite difficult to figure out on the run. Will keep trying!

My reference point on this is the Invincible 3. The lockdown is way better on the New Balance. But in some ways this is like running on jelly and feels less stable than the Nikes. Which surprised me with such a wide base and such good reviews. I’m a heavy runner so it ought to work. A work in progress….

My Nike Invincible 2’s starting to feel a bit flat and the outsole wear spots is almost through to the zoomx (after 450km since Jan) and since the 3’s aren’t getting reduced and no sign of the 4’s coming along I ordered the Puma ForeverRun Nitro (futrograde???) for €69 today. Saw your video from last year saying the foreverrun were better all round than the invincible 2’s so looking forward to trying them on

I picked up the Adizero SL 1 for $50 USD from adidas and it doesn’t seem to be as firm as you made it out to be. Seems quite light yet cushioned. Not squishy but still cushioned well

Asics Superblast 2 Sold Out Of Popular sizes in just over 5 hrs today...I looked at 8am Plenty of Stock, just after 1pm most have gone, interestingly other outlets showing same stock levels, I recon all websites maybe linked now, which means there might not be another chance to get em until next release 😢

It’s a similar fit to be honest. They seem to use a slightly narrow arch. If I recall they are a touch wider than the deviate in the forefoot

New Balance running shoes are absolutely horrible. Their fresh foam is way too soft and the foam collapses quite quickly. I'm in New York City and the marathon is sponsored by new balance and hardly anyone wears their shoes.

I don't agree. I'm a 1,90m and 95kg runner and the foam softness is exactly what I need. I really enjoy New Balance shoes. I have my Marathon PB in a pair of RC Elite v2
