I got a pair of Goodr sunglasses last year but never wore them for running; I felt wearing them, along with a visor and Aftershokz headphones would be uncomfortable, leaving me feeling that my head was in a vice-like grip. But I did wear them out and about and through parks and was amazed at how clear the lens was, even on a heavily overcast day. They are my default sunglasses now, so I need to get another pair just for running 😀 I did like the District Vision’s frameless sides, if only I were a fan of aviation-type sunglasses 😔

@@nollys8523 I actually wear my Goodr sunglasses with a visor and Aftershokz headphones and it's no problem :) Not for shorter runs anyways, above 15 km it does get a bit annoying.

Oakley also does an xs size for the EV Path and I think you'd find they fit much much better on a smaller face (like you and many others have... and me. I love mine)

30 South Eyewear are a brand from South Africa and have just launched over here. They are worth checking out as the quality is really awesome and the price is way lower than the other high end ones.

After using for years Rudy and Oakley for driving, running and biking I finally found in Roka my new favorites. Light, stylish and the most important, they don't move during exercise. Expensive but worth it

I have a pair of Goodr sunglasses. Very good and lightweight and give good protection and anti glare. I also have a pair of Foster and Grant polarised glasses that I got in Sainsbury's for £25. I have worn them for running and cycling, but predominantly I wear them for driving, even on a dull day as they brighten your vision.

As a evening / night runner I hardly use sunglasses while running, but when I do I use my „8562“ from Silhouette. They're not dedicated running glasses, but they work very well; they don't slip, are extremely light (titanium) and seem to disappear the moment you put them on. I also love the way they filter the light, things look a bit more natural compared to other sunglasses I tried. Look fancy too (Matrix style...). Only downside is they have no hinges, so they are hard to put away when you don't need them. Didn't know there were so many brands out there offering dedicated running sunglasses, thx for the introduction & happy Easter!

I wear Goodr glasses as they're pretty cheap so its not a huge issue if they get lost or broken plus they're sold by our local running club so I like support them.

Yes, they are great! I only have one pair for now, not that I need more, but they are so pretty 😻 (and very comfortable and have good quality lenses). And the names... I feel that people naming Goodrs and people naming Opi nail polishes should meet 😄

Good timing I was looking for a good pair of sunglasses for running lately. Ordered a pair of the Vallon Howlin' based on this, my fear was always that glasses would fall off. The strap is such a simple solution.. they also look great! 😎

I've just bought the Proviz sunglasses. Haven't run with them yet but they look and feel good. They'll have to wait for a test run as it is blowing a gale outside and I'm not going out in that! 🌬

I've got a pair of the Goodr BFGs (because I've got a wide head) and they're excellent. Zero movement when running and good lens quality as well (and I like the funky colours). That's before you realise how fabulously cheap they are as well!

Thanks for the explanation at the start, made rest easy to follow. I haven't worn glasses running much but have a pair of Ironman brand Foster Grant polarised and a pair of Red Ultra, doesn't have any spec on those. Tempted to get a pair of Goodr, like they don't take themselves too seriously!

I have the Suncloud Zephyr's. Extremely light, comfortable on eye strain. ~75$CDN. Nice, but reviews say scratch easy, a bit flimsy. Mine got this weird silvery spotty precipitate/flecks on the inside of the lenses while stored.

I Like this video very informative i got some jojen sunglases for 16.96 from 17.96 with a coupon i think i mainly payed for a nylon lens that has a slight above avarege polorised lens nothing impressive but i found going with somthing in a mid range price range you get a pretty good lens for every day use affordibility and a sunglass that will fit you better

For me i was always missplacing or loosing my glasses and they would end up broke but not no more since i started using the case put up method put them in a case keep that in a place youll remeber and grab them out the case and when its evening and the sun has gone pretty much put them on my head and use th if that sunsetting glare happens then put them back in the case its not really a method its just keeping track of them but to have that mine set for me to kinda think of it as a big method makes me make shure i dont loose my sunglasses

I've got 3 pairs of Goodrs , sadly they have all had the top coat lift & I can't use them. When the 1st pair went, I couldn't fault their CS & I had a replacement pair sent out which have also gone the same way. I didn't want to take the P & request replacements for the others but I am gutted as I loved them & always looked after them well. X

I prefer running in goodr's as well. Already got 4 of them in various colors and love them, though they fog up a little while running in cold temperatures. Alternatively I sometimes use my old Siroko sunglasses too.

You can't go wrong with Roka sunglasses! I own two pairs (Torino which are $100 less than the Phantom Titanium and a sportier pair of SR-1X). Both are great for running. I wear my Torinos for everything, except cycling, and I often get compliments on them. My SR-1X are reserved for cycling and certain runs; I have a total of three lenses I can swap out depending on the lighting. Not only do these have a smaller option that fit my petite face, but these also sit just far enough away from my face not the fog up while wearing a face covering. I don't know that I paid full price for any of what I mentioned above. Roka has a decent number of deals throughout the year in addition to Strava challenges that can earn you a discount. I've had both pairs of glasses for over a year and they look like new; I hope they stay that way forever because I never want to be parted from either pair. I have an absurd love for them, but I also have a hard time finding sunglasses that fit me as well as these do.

What about a rundown on sunglasses that support strong prescriptions? Some of us have to wear corrective lenses to be able to run and ride 🤓🤓🤓😀.

I wear sunglasses when I run almost all of the time. Hate having to squint even on dull days. Moonshine are my current favourite brand and not dissimilar to Goodr.

You're not going to believe this but I absolutely love my Aldi running sunglasses! £2.99 or something daft like that. They are not going to have any of the features enjoyed by the ones you've reviewed of course. But I've always found them really comfortable and they have quite a high "cool" factor as well!

Have you tryed on diff sunglases and found a shape you love you can try getting a company to make you custom fit lenses you can pop in might be a bit pricey but if you want a nice pair of glasses thay can be dressed up or down it might work there was this guy welp will call him smithy and he streamed and had some sunglasses that he had custom iglassesses lens made for he loved the fraim but didnt love the sunglass lenses

I have a pair of Rudy Project Rydon Running. They are great for trail running. Very light, they do not fall of your head. Price is about the Oakley but for more confortable.

I'm an Oakley only guy when cycling, i love their fit. I have a photochromic pair of Rydons for running though and they are brilliant. Adjustable nose and ear stems to really get them fit is a bonus

Bose frames tempo is my go too - pricey at $250 but I need music when I run and it’s safer than having headphones in your ears!

If you're buying polarised sunnies, be sure to check that they're compatible with the screen on your phone, smartwatch, etc. The screens on such devices are polarised and the relative orientation of polarisation matters. Worst case is your screen looks black! For phones, check in the orientation (portrait/landscape) you'll actually use when running. I learnt this the hard way: my favourite sunglasses have a polarisation which requires me to tilt my head a little to the side to see the satnav in my car ☹️

It would be great to hear which sunglasses are also suitable for prescription lenses, without distortion. Also worth consideration is durability in hot environments. I run in the desert a lot and the high temperatures and dust lead to the rapid deterioration of some lens coatings.

Polarised sunglasses can be a problem with some phones if you use them when running . I also realised I have a problem with polarised lenses after being gifted a pair . I have depth issues . So when I’m walking it feels like I’m going shrinking lower and lower into the pavement 😂. I’d imagine it could be dangerous when running or cycling . So something to think about before splashing out

My running glasses are the best they hardly fog! and I had worn them in all sort of weather.. I have tried goodr , oakley and fog is a problem.The irony is my sun glasses were picked up at a co ference for free.Wonder if any sunglass company wants to take a look at it and create their version.It will sell like hotcake!!

As a trail runner only photochromic lenses will do so that i can keep my glasses at all time regardless of light conditions. Julbo makes the best running glasses in my opinion

I’ve got 2 pairs of Oakleys. One Radar EV Path Retina Prizm Road and one Radar EV Path Polished White Prizm Sapphire. Love them both, only sunglasses I can run with. Both my pairs came in hard cases with that soft little bag inside, so I find it strange that your did’nt come with the hard case 🧐

Oakley, always Oakley. It’s been probably 20 years since I bought a different brand of sunglasses for anything. I use Flak 2.0 XL for running and cycling. I get why people are attracted to things like GoodR but all I see if complaints about the coating rubbing off etc.

Oakley are way overpriced and mass produced by the same company as a bunch of other brands like Rayban, prada etc called luxottica. You could get way better for your money. Sungod renegades put the Oakley holbrook to shame and are almost 1/3 the price

@@KristianH1986I agree. I own several pairs of District Vision sunglasses, both for casual use and/or for running/hiking. Best sunglasses in my honest opinion. Super light weight, excellent quality, great designs, and not to mention they are hand made in Japan. Only wish they were more affordable. Oakley’s are so overhyped and played out, everyone and their mom owns them. Nothing wrong with that of course; people are more than welcome to spend their money as they please. I personally prefer brands that aren’t as big and mainstream.

I have several Goodr and they are great. I also have a pair of Tifosi Wisps for cycling and running. The Tifosi wrap around the side so I do like that for more protection. They also have 3 lenses you can swap out.

I agree that hats are good for cutting out the sun but it doesn't work when the sun is extremely low in the sky. I think that I probably draw the line on spending more on sun glasses than on shoes, though.

Why can you not Leave the sunglasses on your Face for more than 2 seconds? its almost if you feel embarrassed to wear them,its utterley ridiculous to review them perched on top of your head,how do you expect people to make a choice like this?
