Hahaha I'm from Chihuahua Mexico, I love that song, they talk about a show they played at my hometown in early 2000, I guess they were not expecting the massive amount of fans and that badass show, and also the corrupt cops in town, 😅 but man I was 14/15 when they played here, 23 years later and I'll get to see them live this December can't wait for that 👍

In Germany in the mid-80's with HM Armed Forces. When off duty we sometimes went to a town called Haltern. I always wore my Saxon t-shirt. The locals would always ask me about it.

The 80's were great years to be a Teenage Metalhead. Radio stations wouldn't play stuff like this so we traded tapes recorded from vinyl. On payday you'd head to the record store and look for bands to take a chance on with no idea if they sucked or not. If they were wearing a motorhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden shirt or some other band you liked was all you really had to go on. If it rocked then you tell all your friends and make copies of tapes for them.

@@TheAdventuresofTNT Saxon were the first band I ever saw play live - October 1981, on the Denim and Leather tour - felt those riffs and that bass hit my weedy fourteen year old chest and it was unforgettable. Please please listen to And The Bands Played On (from the Denim and Leather Album), the first metal single I ever bought.

Dude, just want to say I'm so fond of your Saxon reactions. - They're one of the big britsh metal bands, of immense importance, yet they seem to have drifted from the spotlight. So it's not just about seeing your reaction, it's an awesome feeling to see you're spreading the word. I don't exactly understand how this band became so underrated, but it's time to fix it!

Love Saxon! Killing Ground is a great Album. Great to see Saxon finally getting the respect they deserve . They are right up there with Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Their whole discography is worth a listen, great music through out .

I got turned on to Saxon in 1985 , was in the military stationed in West Germany at the time , went to a military music store saw a cassette tape titled Strong Arm Metal , bought it and Whoaaa was it bad ass , it actually was the Best of Saxon

I saw Saxon on the Killing Ground tour and they didn't even play this song. They did play 'Rock is our life' and 'Dragon's Lair' though. I can recommend those as well as the title track if you want to hear more from this album. I like it a lot myself.

My favorite song by this band is "Broken Hero's". Not only is it a very good song but if you watch the video of the song then make sure that you look at the upper bottom part of the lead guitarists guitar. He has a mural painting of Jimi Hendrix on it. It looks really good. Most people don't notice it.

Try "Chasing the Bullet" from A Call to Arms. Actually the whole record is smoking, but that's a really good one. "Solid Ball of Rock" is another really good tune from the record Solid Ball of Rock 🎸🎶⚡🤘

Have seen Saxon Live and are solid British Heavy Metal but this is far from their best song. Try Princess of the Night ,. 747Stangers in the Night, Wheels if Steel, 20,000 ft,. Denim and Leather, Strong Arm of the Law .....the list is a long one ...😊

It's a cool song, but I think there are better Saxon songs. My favourite is 'Princess of the Night' but there is probably some nostalgia included to my judgement. I saw them so many times back in the late 80s and 90s..

Saxon is tight raw riff rock and singer Biff stands tall between Halford and Bonham. To be honest this song sounds pushed and modern as in same mongling 3 tone crap as they all done last 30 years and not at all as true Saxon. I don't think this is anywhere near as good as anything from classic 80s Saxon.You should listen to any track from Wheels of Steel or Denim and Leather.
