The Leela Kovalam is primarily a business hotel and wedding destination. It is lesser known for wellness and Ayurvedic treatment, although the holistic health services are very good here. We at Ayurooms love this property because the spa is beautiful and well-built; the food is delightful; the rooms offer spectacular ocean views; and the entertainment on weekends is fun.
The Leela Kovalam is an expensive property relative to other wellness resorts in Kovalam and Chowara Beach and other destinations in Kerala. But if you can afford to go here, it may be well worth it, depending on your objectives.
