Please, I stayed in Nigeria as a Ghanaian and I can tell you that there are awesome and amazing SHS all over. Just continue your tour and you may agree to that. Another interesting thing that I found was how intelligent Nigerian students are. I studied with them so I can confirm that too. In general the government schools in Ghana have an edge in terms of infrastructure but there are equally sophisticated private schools different places. Finally, I felt the cultural dynamics and outlook between Nigeria and Ghana are close to some extent. They are our brothers and sisters. Just a little rivalry over jollof rice !!!😅

Why not set the bar up? We can't settle for mediocrity. This government is pushing on our throats. We can do better. Our market, Nigeria, is here. They will embark on massive educational tourism. We have to revamp the SHS courses to provide tailored skills to SHS graduates to become employable rather than focusing on educational certificates. You and I know 80% of those who run through SHS through to University have no usable skills. They have educational certificates without skills.

Old students replacing broken doors and windows and painting outdated weak school blocks is very minimal of a contribution. In Ghana , old students embark on huge infrastructure developments for their shs school. Interms of quality education , Ghana is far ahead of Nigeria.

If this is a Senior High School in Nigeria, then the gab between Ghana and Nigeria is so wide in terms of quality and beautiful facilities. This school is like a primary school somewhere in a village in Ghana. The Ministry of Education would command it to stop operating a Senior High School if this was to be use as Senior High School in Ghana.

Wow!😃, you went to my Birthplace man😮😊. I was born in an hospital named FMC( Federal Medical Centre I think) close by and lived in a neighbourhood called Rainbow which is also close by . Have been to this school to play and watch football many times way back in the early 2000s. This brings back fun memories man😊. I'm Ghanaian currently living in Ghana by the way.

Wow the articulateness of this promising young lady is impressive. Infrastructure wise Nigerian Government Senior Secondary Schools may not be impressive but from the fluency and excellent articulateness of this assistant girls prefect I can boldly say the quality of their education is top notch.I'm Ghanaian but an objective one.The needless comparison between us is foolish to say they least.Our governments can do a lot more better and we should hold them accountable.
