My SNE573 solar arrived today, absolutely love it! Perfect dimensions and still looks substantial even at 38.5mm. I wanted something I could wear playing tennis and golf without worrying about jarring the movements in my mechanical watches, and it will always be set anytime I grab it from my watch box. Sapphire crystal, 200m rating with screw-down crown, mostly brushed case (polished can look cheap), a perfectly usable rubber strap, great lume, and handsomely understated looks with the smaller round indices. What’s not to love for around $350!

The SPB143 with a solar movement would have been nice for us who prefer accurate time keeping. The SNE573P1 will have to do for now.

I've recently got the SNE573 over the SNE569 because that black dial looks more vintage to me. Very thin and compact diver.. I love it! Thanks for the great vid!!

I got the Slim Turtle last week. Love it to death. Its going to be my daily for my next dive holiday in the summer. Great value and design Versatile and rugged, plus my bezel is slightly misaligned so I know its a genuine! 🤣

So, you should add hats to your channel, timeless sneakers and watches and hats beotches would be a really good channel name, but seriously, how many hats do you own?! Great lineup of Seikos! I love the PADI prospex divers, getting another one at some point soon, but still trying to save for the big one. Love all of these seikos, that first Solar prospex is a beaut!! Love it. The second one, such a beaut but honestly I would be happy enough with the grab and go Solar very similar vibes and half the money, and I love me a good quartz. The strap on number two is stellar! Oh man the slim turtle is gorgeous love the white dial! So so nice! Love that 4th one two I think my fav two are the last one and the white one but I do like that Solar quartz, but that case on number 4 and dial is sick! Great highlight video of these watches they are real nice congrats on having them in your Collection. Where do you get those straps?

Also, I love and appreciate the support! For real!!! As for the padi releases, I agree! Those are awesome. Seiko has so many options it's crazy! Imagine trying to collect every Seiko release 😂. Glad to see you liked all four! The solar is a killer piece and hard to beat for the price in my opinion. Straps, well I'm a strap whore lol I buy what I like from all over the place. What's up bud!! It means the world to see support like this. I know it's a bit hard when you have multiple hobbies under one channel and out of the 2 one is really all you care about. But it's why I don't take the support for granted. As for the SNE529 and that series, aren't the great watches! Man I love mine, the looks, the quality, the size, everything about the watch I love. Glad you found this hidden Seiko gem 👊😊

Great Seiko selection. I agree.. something about Seiko watches always draws me back in. Despite the gamble on getting a perfectly aligned watch, they're great in most all other aspects. However, in my experience, all the Seiko's that came with the new 6R35 movement needed some adjustments as they had time deviations that were a bit out of my satisfaction zone.

What's up bro! Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out the video. Seiko just knows how to pull you back with their designs lol. Hate them or love them, undoubtedly they make nice looking pieces. I've also heard about the movement issues/concerns with deviation on the 6R movements. Which to be honest it would be nice if Seiko would tighten those up, I think if you're asking $1k + movements should be more accurate lol but that's probably a topic for another video by itself😂. I will say, luckily I haven't had those issues. Thankfully 🙏

you have nice taste in watches. and you got lucky with no misalignments. i've become weary of the high cost of servicing and constantly resetting mechanical watches as they gain/lose, so the solar quartz is the one i've got (same as yours) on a vintage tropics rubber strap, so that's my fave of the bunch. but good taste.

I dig my King Turtle! It looks a little funky, it's tough, has great lume and is super accurate. Drilled lugs should be the standard on all watches.

The King turtle is definitely a cool piece! So many variants to choose from also. Something about the cushion case, I love how they wear. And, I agree drilled lugs should be the standard. If not, make sure we have quick release of some sort. Sucks scratching up your lugs when trying to switch out straps or bracelets lol

Good for (very) casual day wear but those fabric straps make them all look cheap and nasty INMHO - like an Apple watch. Your views may differ, particularly if you are into watches for the sake of them as opposed to a smart, accurate and reliable timepiece suitable for daytime and evening wear.

What's up Adrian! Appreciate you stopping by and watching the video. I also appreciate the dialogue! Makes it more fun. But!!!! It breaks my heart you think they look cheap on the straps shown on the video lol that's a first 😂... but hey! We all have different tastes, likes, and dislikes. It's what makes us, us! If I'm honest, I enjoy the hell out of them because they're just more comfortable in my opinion. But! I know there's people who prefer bracelets, rubber straps, leather straps, etc... So, I guess that's the beauty in it. You can rock your watches how you like. Keep in mind, most individuals will have watches for different occasions. I wouldn't wear any of these with a suit or more formal attire. You have a watch or watches for that. Lastly, the infamous Apple watches and the conversations that come with that lol. I mean, let's be honest... The "Apple watch" isn't a watch. It's a piece of tech which is an extension of your phone. Just like your phone it tells the time but no watchmaking went into it, it's all software wrapped up on a strap you can wear on your wrist. They're cool! But not a real watch. My two cents lol

@@adrianrichards73 Maybe check out the history of NATO straps, and you might start to appreciate them more. They might begin to look less 'cheap' to you, and more... fashionable. Matching a NATO to a case is a statement, compared to just another silver bracelet, or brown leather strap.
