The dead zone tester is a really nice QOL add

The most helpful thing to me on this video was changing my deadzone. Took just a bit to adjust too and I noticed a big difference. Can't believe I've been playing these cods without doing that. Definitely helps with those more precise adjustments when aiming.

Maybe not directly tied to gameplay, but the color settings in Accessibility are great. You can turn up the saturation on the entire game, making it feel a lot more colorful, vibrant, and imo appealing.

Where u can adjust ur thumbstick movement threshold, i set my left stick max movement, to 50%. Or even less. It just lets u strafe better, it gets u to full movement speed, with less stick input.

You didn't mention changing mini map colours. I always make enemy dots yellow so they're easier to see

within the gameplay tab there is an option which allows for autofire semi auto guns by holding down the trigger. I tried that within the campaign and it looks like there is a certain cap to which this will actually work. Would be nice to no how many rpm this feature supports. it feels like it is arround 100

One critical setting that I found was destroying my aim for MW3 was the advanced setting under the horizontal and vertical aim assist settings, which was erroneously set to 1.4 for me, making my normal aim setting of 6 way too fast.

How long until a "map spots" video? Edit: Also I noticed you didn't cover the L2+R2 deadzones--those are important as well because it controls how far down you have to press before you get an input.

Was manual fire behavior always in the settings of Cod? I don't remember seeing that from previous call of duties.I find it's really handy for single tap modes or weapons, would love to hear what you think

Motion sensor is basically the gyro aiming introduce earlier. Like moving your controller with your hands to aim.

Did they fix the dynamic stick response curve? Felt like it was so different compared to previous titles during the beta... First time having that problem

I have tactical setting for button layout. When I’m ADS and shooting, I easily go to prone without wanting to. I don’t mind that at times but most of the time specially when I’m trying to pick someone off at long distance I end up not killing the player as I go prone. Is there a way to reduce this?

Dual sense edge controllers made tweaking the controller settings super confusing. I can fine tune everything from the ps5 settings then have to find a setting which works well within COD as well

Auto tac sprint makes a huge difference. A little tough to get used to at first, but your movement abilities increase greatly using it. Especially when doing quick lateral jumps

I saw in the config file that it has Raytracing in it... perhaps you could cover this in a future video on something about performance/graphics settings?

I take it you dont touch colour customisation settings ? I usually have it on tritantopia and colour filter 2 . Just makes the game pop more imo .

10:32-10:34 that's funny, the picture on the right showing the enemy with a red outline and in next image, ally with a blue outline. Seems like it was in their plan to add outline to enemies and allies but they moved away from it.

Wow. I'm primarily a mouse and keyboard player with pretty much no shooter experience on a controller and I actually feel like I can hold my own now. I was trying to use the "focused" aim assist to get used to the controller, but switching it to default (among the other changes) made such a huge difference

can anyone help me? When I followed this video, I initially saw the slide and drive behavior just like in the video. Now I changed something and I don't know what, but now it says: invert slide and dive behavior instead of slide and dive behavior. I only have the options here to choose between standard and inverted. the options as in the video have disappeared. I would like to have this setting on Slide Only, but that option is gone!! I have reset everything, all settings, and started configuring again, but no matter what I try, I can no longer find the slide only option can someone please tell me what to do?

To your knowledge, is there any way to separate the dive and slide? I know you can turn one off at a time. But could I put slide on B and dive on A for example?

I think they gotta fix the sliding is delayed, I think it’s because you have press to slide and hold to dive so the game is unsure and makes the sliding a bit delayed

Although PlayStation users didn’t get to use gyro in MW2 in the campaign, they finally let us in MW3! I may just play the MW2 campaign to get a familiarity with the AA options (not that I ever plan on using it in multiplayer).

I find having slide cancels sprint to off feels way more fluid since you will automatically go back into sprinting at the end of a full slide rather then staying in crouch.

So is no one getting the glitch that doesn’t allow button mapping changes? It just kicks me to main menu every time

Im new to controllers as a life long kbam player. I found starting controller settings as focusing aim assist with 4-4 sens and .85 ads multiplier to be a good way to get your thumbs muscle memory and reps. Slowly bump up sensitivities as you start winning every gun fight. Eventually you can change aim assist to default
