The bunny one is just incomprehensible. It is so detailed, the way it behaves, how it bounces, bops its head and wiggles its spherical tail is just immaculate.

I can't describe how astounded I am that I found this again, by chance. The first time I saw this I was amazed, shortly after I bought the first "big" purchase of $15-$30 my parents let me spend on a book of hand-shadows. I could make the old man and the rabbit from this clip, I can still remember how to make the rabbit. This is a huge chunk of my childhood and brings back so many associated memories.

He was selling books in the foyer afterwards and I got my parents to buy me one. It taught you how to do all of the shadow puppets shown in this video. this was randomly recommended to me. but for anyone who doesn't know, this clip is originally from an Australian music quiz show called spicks and specks which ran on ABC (Australian BBC) all throughout the 2000s and for the first half of the 2010s. that show, along with top gear and many other shows on the ABC family of channels were my childhood. at the end of each episode, they'd have some kind of performance, either by someone mentioned or someone on the episode, it was really fun and the host, team captains and guests had great chemistry together. they tried to reboot spicks and specks with new people in 2017 I think, but it completely flopped cause the people on the show didn't work together at all. from what I know, the reboot only had one episode because of how shit it was.

@@dinosharttt How so? I only see the shadow of Louis Armstrong singing. Is the fact of portraying such a thing equivalent to being racist? Can nobody no longer represent a person of colour without having fingers pointed at them? This performer didn't poke fun at Armstrong for his appearance, race or mannerisms. He, to the extent of his abilities, tried to make a discernible shadow of the man himself, and even paid tribute to one of his themes. Honestly, you people need to stop trying to find excuses to be offended in every crevice and start enjoying simple, inoffensive things like these.
