I don't think going up more than a full size is advisable in almost any shoe. The lockdown will simply not be there. You may need to re-measure your feet on a Brannock device to get a more up-to-date accurate foot size.

Hi Sammy, you might not have noticed this. I clean my shoes after every wear, and I noticed that the outsole on the 21s around the heel starts to wear off after just one session on an indoor court. Check yours out. I have the Akoya color way and I just noticed this. On the other hand, I've worn my 20s about 4 times on an indoor court and the outsole is good as new. I'll be returning my 21s based on this. I cant have my outsole wearing off after one session for such an expensive pair of sneakers.

@@admplaysball yup. I had to return mine. It's sad because I enjoyed playing in them, but I can't justify such an expensive shoe lacking so much in durability.

It’s because of the completely clear outsole. Get a different color way. The Akoya color way has very bad traction

Hey Sammy, I will say the random slipping in the lebron 21 should go away like it did in the 20. I had numerous problems slipping on a hard step in the 20 but after weeks of break-in that went away.

The slips used to be horrible and i was able to catch it on camera but I can say those situations went away with use.

Thanks for the feedback on this because I had this happen to me second time wearing my lifers and almost hurt my back because of slippage but besides that I love the 20s so hopefully like you said , just need to break em in

Problem with my foot is that its wide and I have a high arch (11 is my nike size). Sucks that only a couple shoes actually fit me. I still bought a size 11.5 Queen Conch and Conchiolin. The NXXT Gens however, fits my foot perfectly snug at 10.5 (my true size). I still went with 11 though.

Agree, Im in my early 20s but after picking up marathon training, my feet did grew sizes. I didn’t think it’s even possible, I guess Sammy is confused too

One shouldn't wear their basketball shoes outside of the gym or play setting. Performance basketball shoes aren't meant to be used casually unless you choose to go up a half size and rock it like that forever or you wear thinner socks. Plus the added benefit of changing into your shoes AT the gym is that you aren't contributing to the problem of tracking in dirt. Don't be a part of the problem, be a part of the solution --- wear a knit upper shoe and then change into your ball shoes at the gym.

For game wearing go up HALF size, For casual wearing go up FULL size. Trust me, this shoes are very snuggy, maybe the reason is for pro basketball,must be very tight on feet

Lebron 20 had so many layers to its design, from the story telling on the outside, to the double swoosh, the crown on the heal, dunk man on the bottom, etc. The 21’s are plain as hell. Nike’s design team sat this one out smh

The only reason that I wouldn’t but Lebrons is the price, (to my knowledge) his shoes are mostly really good, but just because of the price it’s just not worth it, considering that now there are a fair amount of alternatives that are just as, or not better than the Lebrons

Don’t like the fit of the 21. It’s a nice looking shoe, so might get a larger size and rock them casually. Lebron shoes are always funky with the fit. Nike wtf ? Still my shoe of the year and now approaching goat status is the GT Jump 2.

LeBron James is the GOAT but the shoes will hurt your foot or ankle or Achilles. Recovering from Achilles pain now from wearing LeBron XX. I recommend the Tatum 1 new 2023 or GT Jump 2
