In my opinion this is the best bang for buck shop vac; especially for the price point of $69.99. You get 12 gallons of wet or dry and 5.0 peak HP with 2.5" hose. Over all it is pretty quiet considering its size!

I actually bought the detail kit along with this. So happy I did. 1st day I went up and down all my steps without the machine having to be dragged up and down the steps. Well worth the $40 for the extra accessories as well.

Definitely need to pick this one up my old old barely gave up on me after 7 years that vac been through alot from car details to sucking water out the full tank toilet to washers and also attaching a 25 ft pool hose and suck water out a house and draining for 1hour straight lol

RIGID’s are the best shop vacs. *Ergonomics (exactly taller is better for space) *I’ve used them to clean underneath loading docks at work and they get everything (chunks of wood from pallets, nails, screws, and lots of other junk) *Lifetime warranty can’t go wrong. *The locking feature is the best. It would be nice to see a battery powered shop vac. (Only for portability). Can’t go wrong with the power of a cord though.

I bought that behemoth over 5 yrs ago👍🏾. My advice concerning the filter in between usage is to gently use a stiff brush to scrape the filter clean or else suffer buying and replacing them after two or three uses👺. I love my rigid wet vac, but I’m disappointed with those “easy clog” filters.

Thanks for this video. Just bought one to help with my pool. Also you can purchase a inner bag liner that will collect the leaves and help save the filter from clogging.

Things were definitely cheaper 2 years ago. HD has the 12 gallon NXT on sale for 79.99 today. Had to get it because its probably the last time i will see it for that price.

You got the wrong size floor brush that floor brush is 1 7/8 you need 2 1/2 floor brush

I just bought one. Manual says there should be a filter for dry work and a separate one for wet cleanup yet I only see the one pre installed white filter which is for dry cleanup. I did not see a wet filter in your video, can you comment?

Wet filters are usually always the foam style or none at all. The paper or mesh filters are the ones that are for dry, typically combined with a foam filter

@@ToastyDIY thanks for reply. Your comment and other research has confirmed that Ridged does not provide a wet filter with this purchase. One has to buy that separately which I did today at Home Depot for roughly $25. I am a little annoyed that I bought a wet/dry shop vac and I can’t use it as a wet shop vac unless I buy a stand alone filter.
