Arguably, last stand itself does not really require great skill but the Strider does in my opinion - especially when countering tons of Stealth Robots without Quantum Radar Module. Tell me what you think about the setup and play-style. And let's not forget that the Hellburner was nerfed... So that should make the Strider a little more relevant, too.

Manni i have a really wired question Can you dominate the the battle with ares no weapon equipped . only its ability since ares ability deal massive damage why not just use that and it has a minimum cool down 🤔🤨

To super dash on the strider you have to dash when the top of the two things that stick upwards on your back line up with the edge of a cliff or a drop

I gotta give it to you Manni. Even though you used maxed out equipment you still have good skills piloting the bots. I mean, you could still have all this powerful gear and still suck but you're a really good player.

I also have a strider with gust and thunder only lvl 8 weapons and half upgraded modules and once got 700k damage with 8 kills I love it underrated but used right it's beast mode and love your videos

How are root weapons and Last Stand module compatible with skill? Especially when your opponents don't have Last Stand at all. Try to play when everybody has maxed Last Stand, you will probably rage quit pretty quick.

You fail to see the point of this video. To show what a killer the Strider can be when used well. Sure Last Stand does not require skill but surely Lockdown weapons are a bigger problem to the Strider than to most other robots.

Yeah i dont watch manni gaming for suggestions anymore since last year he has bad ideas and hes sponsored so ofcourse he has maxed out stuff to use. It takes all your time to get mk2 12?! Or lots money. I have boycotted mk2 since last year still nothing mk2 and duke out with godz and hard corps.... idk

Yepp. Defintiely more skill required than on an Ares or Spectre or Hellburner (lol). And getting locked down in the wrong place usually means death to the Strider.

Already using that setup for weeks, but all at much lower level (5-6), and lacking 1 halo (cooking one at workshop zzz), temporary replacement: spark, downside: require lock-on. Best achievement with that setup: Wrampage (rarely happen), mostly only 1-2 kills

Strider is one of my favourite robots. I only have a level 7 strider, but I can use it with amazing skill and I absolutely wreck everyone with it. Using the strider with great skill will reap lots of kills, damage and rewards

I don't have luck with Ember in skirmish. Very slow. I got the glory free without producing any components so I figured it was good becuz it was newer and had a special lock down ability. They're really stingy with the Viper and halo components. In all this time I still have 0 Viper.

I use Strider Halo/Avenger setup on my android acc.(I don't have a Glory) and its the most dangerous robot I have. I'm still in the learning fase, but when I do good it makes so much difference for my team. In the start I used it as my beacon snatcher but quicly learned that it not only can take 3 to 4 beacons on ex Moon or Rome, it's also able to kill 3 to 4 robots. It's extreme deadly in death Match. I often use it to go behind enemy lines and when I have a wingman who can shield me from (ex Bulgasari) those 2 can make so much damage. And thats with out last stand and other golden modules. Every time I see big robots like Lancelot or even falcon (on my level they dont have 600K or more HP ;-P) I see silver. I recommend this robot in normal mode (not FFA) with a wingman. Often when I run alone and I feel I'm the beast , it's tend to go over really fast and I have to spawn another robot. Lets see in the end of the month when I will be finished with the Glory and see how much better the "Ninja" Strider will be. Thanks for your videos and the aid to see what we can use insted of spending a lot of silver on "nothing".

@Manni... I'd like to point out to you that with the emulator you are playing on the controls you have are much better than most players that are just using a phone or tablet. You can see this at many of your dash kills. While you are destroying the enemy he is still trying to face you.

dash is the best ability in the game and strider is all about dash. Mine is only level 9 with calamity/spark and it's ridiculously fun

To be fair to your critics, they do have a valid point. When you have a bot that is Mk2 max with weapons that are all Mk2 max as well as all maxed out modules you will perform really well and have a high kill ratio. That said, skill level is also extremely important and I have to give it to you, you are an extremely skilled player. Way, way above average. You have great awareness and know how to get the best out of the bot you're running. I've been playing for very nearly four years now and your level of skill isn't that common. Just a quick example. Jumping in the air in your Vortex Spectre and firing rockets in three different directions at three different players, taking out a couple of them, which I've seen you do, is not easy to do at all. It does take a high level of awareness. Awareness of where your enemies are and what bots they're running as well as their HP, the various ranges, you also have to time it right and even consider where you will land (Which is how many Spectres get killed) and a number of other factors. I could give many more examples but I'm sure you get the point. So yes, all high level equipment does make a big difference but so does skill level. I see players with maxed out stuff who get wiped out before the halfway point in a match because they don't have the skills yet or make silly mistakes like just charging in looking for revenge after getting killed. Lol. I enjoy watching you play and pick up tips all the time. Keep the videos coming Manni, peace.

To be fair, he plays on PC through emulator on a large screen and uses mouse for control. And his opponents mostly play it on a small mobile screen.

BLITZ has always been my favorite bot since day one but I have trouble countering Ravana so I pulled Strider off the shelf and what do you know... Strider effectively counters Ravana!!!! Currently, my hangar has MK12 BLITZ, MK4 BLITZ, lvl 9 Leech, lvl 9 Ares and a lvl 8 STRIDER. I'm building a third BLITZ with Legendary pilot CLIVE VICIOUS to replace Ares.

All of the shotgun style weapons should do more damage than their lock down counterpart. Gust, Storm and Thunder should all be better then halo, corona and glory since the latter have the ability to lock down. Now that would make the field a little more challenging. Lock down or damage... And how about the lock downs actually hitting their percentage. Why even have that in the measurable group when upgrading, it's not true at all... But then again they can't make lots of money off of the the cheaper weapons if they are actually competitive with the new ones... all about the cheddar folks...

From the day the three things called boosters glory and modules came in the carnage became glonage it now glows so much the shield and health boosters made it a strider amount of health the shield got pretty good second thing the glory the amount of damage output omg then we move to modules the last stand makes it live longer and the heavy armor kit makes health be more no damage modules needed because yeh the one glory can take down a invader no problem what about two they will shred through every thing and if you damage modules better get the boosters because yeah without that kit the carnage will die try it out it will kill

I agree, that the Strider with Lockdown Weapons are real Beast ( i know it from the ts) but my own Private Strider is only on lv.10 with 2 x lv.10 Gusts and a lv.10 Ember,my own Record was 2 times a Godlike with this Bot and Setup! I know and i am with you that full Mk2 Stuff not makes automatically or guarantees 2-3 Millions Damage! For this you need awesome Skills like yours^^ Have you Play the new Remake from Resident Evil 2 ! I have finished Yesterday the 2. Run with Clare,and ...what for a Monster of a Game,normal i dont enjoy more Horror Games with Jump Scares,but RE 2 is soo Brutal Good ! A real Masterpiece of Game,for a Remake ! Thanks for the video and making me buy the Strider for $5 lol. Ok serious question, how do you control the shooting and dash? I'm using an iphone and I'm assuming you're using some controller instead of awkward 2 fingers? I really like the skills for when you use the Strider with sparks calamity (?) on the "F bomb video" but I don't think I can do that on a touch screen platform.
