Gonna be replacing my Arctics with these. Legend! thank you! Downsizing to a case with just two fans so need more airflow and may sling a rad in there too. Awesome detailed content as always but thanks for the overall scores to allow us with fewer brain cells to understand it and buy the right fan :)

The air slimmer looks extremely similar to the Jonsbo HF1215, the fan blade looks identical. I would be curious to know if they perform the same

Wonder how these compare to the P14 slim fans. I'm doing an ITX build soon and can get the air slimmer's locally but kinda want the P14 slim's because I know larger fans spin slower and put out the same air flow as 120 fans.

Got em after watching your group test video. Ez to install and good led brightness. I'm using them at 1k rpm speed at the bottom of the case, cos past it I can start to hear a step in noisy. Can be used at 1500 rpm with no problem with headphones. Tbh I was thinking something less noisy past 1k, cos I also bought the new Corsair QX140 with new ICUE system, and at 1500 rpm they are quiter. Anyways good videos and helped me alot with the right choice. Keep going ❤

Decent full size fans will likely be quieter yeah. I’ll be branching out into full size after looking at more slim fans but hopefully these will serve you well!

Thank you for your video @@CrazyTechLab. I'm working in the music industry and i go Mini ITX corsair 2000D. Im trying to manage which very quiet slim fans i could take (i watched all your videos about these subject). I was focused on this one thanks to your review but OP's post makes me questioning the noise part as its very important that this computer be the quietest possible. Thank you for your help and keep up the good work :)

Seeing how the sst-as120b scores so high on your list, i would love to see how it stacks up with the full size 120x25mm fans. Although I’ve watched your group test video, it was very well put together that I don’t really see why you upload this video.

I wanted to include shots of the RGB lighting as I didn't have time in the group test and it's the main reason you'd pick it over the standard version. Plus as it's by far the best I thought it deserved a standalone review :) But yes this fan will be compared against standard fans. it's on my to-do list

dont suppose we know if the rgb version performs the same as the no rgb version? or if the fan can hit 0 rpm (for things like gpu de-shroud)?

Good video and while this proves that this fan may be king for some use cases, note the Noctua and Arctic (and maybe others) are PRESSURE optimized. A fair test would be to stick these on a radiator.. and measure radiator performance (component temps hooked up to the rad vs. noise etc.) Air flow is not what the pressure optimized fans are meant for. Sorry maybe you covered that but I just skipped through a lot of the video. Cheers!

His reasoning is that since he measured the airflow BEHIND the radiator, it should be representative of the static pressure, since static pressure is what actually forces the air through the fins. I looked the specs of a view fans and these SilverStones have indeed by far the highest static pressure.

would have liked to see airflow and noise levels at much lower rpm as I am currently sat here with my system almost silent and the fans are around the 350 / 400rpm mark (controlled with Fan control). some fans my not run at slow speeds or stop when below an rpm level or the fan design might not be as efficient at low rpm therefore needing to ramp up more frequently and possibly causing more noise.

Honestly I did try this but the airflow and noise levels are actually unrecordable. The noise level was sub ambient basically. It’s why I set the minimum to 1000rpm as this is generally what I’d recommend for an idle setting. Below that slim fans generate such tiny amounts of airflow they become rather pointless. Can appreciate the need to test minimum rpm though. I’ll look into that for future reviews.

Hello! Thanks for the lovely video! During the 7v vs 12v demo, how did you turn off the RGB? I love the white on black aesthetics, but not particularly a fan of the RGB can it be turned off somehow? If used both for CPU and as case fans

Undetectable with my sound meter like most slim fans so sadly I can’t report sound levels at that RPM.

@@CrazyTechLab Alright, I'm looking to add one to my BD770i to fit inside my Dan A4 SFX. Sadly the Noctua NF-12x15 I have bought from amazon makes some awful creaking noises at low rpm.
