Although I have lost respect for SS in recent times, I must agree this has been a very fair and objective analysis of SS tiny desk concert. The harmonies are amazing..and this is about one of the only redeeming qualities SS has left. I wished current SS would do more of these than the other burlesque performances.

Honestly I haven't seen any of their other performances to date. I am in love with dry, stripped down live performance. I appreciate that thank you for your honesty.

@@ZoeStibiVocalCoach Well, lets just say tiny desk concerts like this allow SS to truly shine as a bona fide powerhouse vocalist with no gimmicks or extra distracting stunts. Back up singers did great here too as with the piano accompaniment and everyone looked like they had pure genuine fun. It was so raw, yet professional. SS's other recent live tour perfomances on the other hand focussed waay too much on theatrics/stunts such that the vocal quality deteriorated as a result (the dude went slightly off key and was pitchy for Unholy during such a few such performances). Thats why I made those earlier comments, and truly appreciate your analysis of this tiny desk concert.

Im from the uk and used too srgue with my dad thst sam has an amazing voice.. im glad he passed away before he became a freak and i wouldnt stand a chancs of winning the argument if he seen the absolute state sam smith is today.. i wouldnt even bother defending myself anymore. The absolute state of him🙈
