Rise Against is a band you should really react to. If you love the drums and energetic music then they the band for you. React to "Ready to Fall or The Number". They have soo many great songs

Definitely some rise against. Guess the problem is their good song are in the past now, new stuff is so formulaic. Prayer of refugee, give it all, ever changing, black masks and gasoline, anything for first 3 albums really :)

Ooof. I think I just had a stroke, but instead of smelling toast, I smell high school lockers. 🤣🥰 But, in all seriousness, this came out right about the time the Iraq War started, and a LOT of us screamed along to this song with complete honesty.

In typical pop punk style, the name of the album is Go Chuck Yourself. Also, "Summer" from their Half Hour of Power EP is short but definitely worth the listen. Displays pretty much exactly why they blew up in the early '00s. Edit: for clarity, they released this twice on separate albums. Much like green day with welcome to paradise.

Such a big band, and yet somehow they feel underrated. One of the faces on the pop punk mt rushmore imo. Amazing live show as well!

The Album? "Does this look infected". I bought this album at a pretty low point in life and it slapped so hard that it stayed with me all through high school. I have my tickets to their tour with The Offspring in December and still can't believe I'm going to get to see these iconic singers from my youth, in my lifetiime.

Sum 41 is one of the few bands that every album they put out is an album you listen to without skipping a track. They are amazing and it’s sad that they are done after their next album.

The world will never "stop hating" if we just stand around and "wait". In the 1960's and 70's we spoke out against Vietnam (another foreverwar) and supported Civil Rights and bands back then were recording songs that spoke of the greed of the recording studios that attempted to control musicians' careers and pay them as little as possible. Then came the first NAFTA treaty that moved good-paying manufacturing jobs off-shore to lands where the labor force made a *lot* less money which fattened American corporation's profits. This modern-day band is protesting about the same failures in American Society they see today as *we* protested about when *we* were young. For all the good it did us.

If I recall correctly this song was written in regards of 9/11 and shortly afterwards the new war path being blazed through the Middle East, ie. the 'War that can't be won'.

Though there is a layer of politics in the lyrics. This song was mostly about the feeling of hopelessness from finding out a friend got cancer.

Right idea, different song. I believe the one you’re talking about is The Hell Song. Still Waiting is pretty much the bands response to the 9/11 attacks and the war that followed it
