As you mentioned , that your primary usage is OTT content and also hd channels , then i would suggest to go with sony x80k. Reason , it has very good HDR performance and also dolby vision , which are required while watching ott contents. Triluminous display is justified in this x80k model. X75k and x74k entry level tv's from sony ( they are good , but dolby vision is not available). X75k and x74k differ in motion handling of action scenes. X75k has xr200 while x74k has xr100. That's it. Panel used are IPS panel. Which panel to prefer (ips or va) depends on the customer , ips panel have good viewing angles , while va panel has comparatively better contrast. X80k also has comparatively better motion handling in action scenes. Hence , if you can stretch your budget then go with sony x80k. I won't say x75k is value for money , it's a bit overpriced for what it offers. Comparitively x80k is value for money. Small suggestion : if you are finding difficult to stretch your budget then go with vu masterpiece qled. It will serve better in ott content performance comparitively to x75k. Also have heard like 74k and 75k models have Connectivity issues (Remote,Bluetooth and WiFi) along with not so durable panel.since it was on cheaper side and had good reviews over e commerce platforms so I was having inclination towards it. Upscaling of set top box channels is beautiful (better than other brands). For tv size , i suggest to consider size bigger than 43". 50 inch would be perfect for you and sony x80k would be in your budget for this size. There are no dimming zones in both tv , sony gives frame dimming. Both are ips panels hence good for wide viewing angles , but contract ratio's are less (it's obvious for any ips panel). Lg doesn't give dolby vision support and hence automatically x80k is superior choice for OTT content. Other points are also discussed in detail in our various videos. At any given time , sony and samsung arr worth considering. Believe me. Next , which tv model you should prefer, totally depends on the type of usage from the tv. For example , watching sd/hd content OR ott content OR gaming . Also , if your family is big and for everyone to get better view of the tv , ips panel should he preferred. So you can say about I can stretch in between 50K ~ 65K if there is a good deal of offers. And from childhood I have a little fondness towards sony although I have never had it in my home. Since the price is usually high for bravia so I was hesitant to buy earlier. Brother, without any doubt a80k , highest (infinite) contrast ratio , best colour management and realistic colours , grey uniformity etc. are best. Brightness levels are comparable in both models , sdr brightness of x90k is better , while hdr brightness of a80k is better. Also, would like to add in general , sony has launched its full array led tv in the form of x90k (which is very good) so as those who cannot go to the price of oled can enjoy the contrast and blacks through its full array tv which has local dimming zones, who's price is comparitively lesser than oled. For someone who can afford oled panel , definitely should go with it :)

But in our country Price of this two models are litely different almost 10 to 15 k. Some reviews o see that a80k need dark room to get best performance and window side or lighting room the dark view is different. And X90k viewing Angel is not better.

Every tv has it's own merits and demerits. Sony tv's are promising tv's, especially due to its triluminous display and their processor. Hello No brother, It's not a qled. Sony x85k , is a lcd panel with led backlight tv. In simple language , It's a normal tv ( but as described in the video, sony's TRILUMINOUS display works similar to qled panel) This tv , has good black colour production and contrast ratio. Hello Both offers their unique specialities. Samsung q60b is comparitively brighter and better contrast ratio as it's a VA panel. Sony has better colours and its IPS panel and hence better viewing angles. Also, it has dolby vision support which is missing in samsung tv's. Hence, it's upto you , what you prefer. What's the main usage of your parents ? Ott content or sd/hd channels via set top box. See , there are some backlight issues , when watched in dark room. Lg qned are very good for their colour production. If you find it value for money and your heart says to go for it then go for it. You can go with sony x80k , triluminous display and with all round performance will surely enhance your experience. Small suggestion : you can also go with sony x90k which is sony's full array led tv with more advanced processor and colours because of xr triluminous pro. Both are similar Only difference is of motion flow xr 100 which is in x74k and motion floa xr 200 which is in x75k . Like , colours in sony are comparitively good , while the details in dark areas are comparitively good in samsung. One small con of samsung bu8000 is a little bit sluggish UI. While , motion handling of action scenes is not so great sony x74k comparitively. So , both pros and cons of both the tv's have been shared. Please choose accordingly. My personal choice would be x74k , due to android OS. Samsung have It's own tizen os , which has its own limitations. Upscaling is done by the processor and sony's processors are very good in upscaling ( compared to other brands). Ofcourse durable tv's and with better service ( again compared to other brands).

Hello Both are almost same. Only difference is x80k has motion flow 200 and x80aj has motion flow 100. It means x80k can handle fast action scenes better. But from my point of view , there is no need to turn on motion flow for most of the content. Second difference is x80j is available online as well as offline. While x80aj is available only online. Hello No both the hardware and software are same in both the models , displays are also same. Yes , the only thing is motion flow is better in x80j . Another factor for price difference is , x80aj is only online model and x80j is online+offline hence , there is a price difference.

Yes sir , in vu masterpiece glo , sd channel upscaling is limited , but it upscales hd channels to a satisfactory level. When compared to sony x80aj , this upscaling has slight difference , not a major one.

Except for x74k and x75k , other models do have dolby vision and dolby atmos support. To experience it , the content on tv should also have it. Mostly ott platforms provide it.

It purely depends on your needs and budget. A series from sony has oled panels. X series has traditional led ( which is actually lcd) panel Oled gives the best black colours and grey colour accuracy, which cannot be offered by any other panel. Cinematic experience is best enjoyed on these panels. Once anyone has watched contents (movies or shows) especially from ott source which has dolby vision , they can truly understand what's the difference is. But if budget doesn't allows you , then you can enjoy x85k. It has beautiful hdr performance , good for sd/hd channels and ott viewing. Hence choose the panel according to your budget. Though it sits below x75k model , but color production is very good and in budget you get a well built and durable tv But do note, it isn't a triluminous, instead it has live color Also, lack of hdmi eArc port (incase if you are planning for a dolby atmos soundbar or high resolution games) If you are not gamer, then you can consider this. Your budget for 55 inch , clearly tells you want a quality tv. There are three options which you can consider , all three are best in there own segments. First is sony x75k , 2022 model. Prefer it for picture quality , durability and all round performance in budget. ( But lacks hdmi 2.1 port) Second is samsung frame , it's a wonderful tv and can be used as painting artwork when it's idle. Smart features are very good in it along with picture quality. Brightness is also very good. Third is vu masterpiece glo qled , it's also wonderful tv , it's picture quality and clearity are very good. Everyone is surprised how vu masterpiece is giving neck to neck competition to sony and samsung with it's picture quality. It's a complete package tv and has everything in it. Due to it's brightness there might be some blooming but it's okay. Sony x80aj is also worth buying. IPS panel & for ott content it's a wonderful tv. It has all the ports (4 hdmi ports which contains 1 eArc port) but it doesn't support ALLM It has Bluetooth 4.2 and not 5.0 Hence , you can go ahead with it, avoid it if you are a gamer. Best wishes :)
