I just bought one. Holy sh*t!!! The sound this thing makes is incredible. I’m coming from a BMW X3 and I would say this suv definitely has more character. In dynamic sport mode the way the engine spits and hisses and rips like a chainsaw… Best $$$ I ever spent on a car. 👍🏾!

Being a buyer in the market for this kind of car would be a great place to be. Like a kid in a candy store you're literally spoiled for choices. I'd be happy with any of these picks: SVR (F-Pace or Range Rover Sport), X5/3M, GLE/C63, Stelvio QF, Cayenne/Macan Turbo, SQ7 even if it's 'down' on power.

Bought the Jaguar. Fuji White. Drove 5000 miles in 6 days. Loved the experience. Didn't see another Jaguar, but did see a Maserati.

Have seen yellow SVR driving around a few days ago. Definitely the one to go for, looks so striking.

It looks like the car is on all seasons for this review. With summer tyres the handling should be way better.

Some people in these comments are hating on the sound. As an F Type SVR owner, I will say the audio on camera does NOT do this platform any justice. Reserve judgement until you hear it in person. The microphone picks up this flappy flatulence sound, but when you hear it in person, it has more character and depth to it & you instantly realize why these guys love the sound.

These are one of the most underrated SUVs on the market period.

It sounds much better when you disconnect the electrical connector from the exhaust valves 😉. I couldn’t live with how much quieter my new SVR was compared to my 2020 SVR with the new noise attenuation software forcing the valves closed even in loud mode at most rpm. 5 minute fix and it has its soul back :) Including alllll the cracks and pops off throttle. It’s also incredible on track if you order the performance tire option. Negligible body roll compared to the 2020 and immensely more turn-in and mid-corner grip.

I'm sorry but my heart is already stolen by the Trackhawk. That supercharger with the American V8 is just godly. The looks also are better in my opinion. Only if it had the same infotainment as the Jaguar, it would be the perfect car. Right now, it still is an awesome vehicle and the best of the ones you compared it to. Nice video by the way!

If you want a really amazing exhaust sound you should listen to a Range Rover Sport SVR with the Quicksilver exhaust! We’ve owned the 2022 Ultimate Edition in Maya Blue since August of 2022 and had the exhaust changed the following month. You can almost literally wake up the dead with that thing! Funny thing is that we just put a deposit down on a 2023 Eiger Grey F-Pace SVR a few days ago after our 2019 Fiat 500 Abarth was involved in an accident (which btw wasn’t our fault). It’s either being repaired or totaled. Whatever happens, it’s either being traded in or the proceeds from it being totaled are going towards the F-Pace. Since we thoroughly enjoyed our experiences in the Range Rover Sport SVR, it only made sense to get the F-Pace SVR afterwards! Luckily at this time, we’re paying MSRP instead of $10k over MSRP like we did for the Rover! Love your channel and your content! Keep it up!

The Jag - all the way. The interior tips it for me, in addition to all its other great qualities. The Maserati's infotainment is ancient and the Jeep's would feel cheap by comparison.

The class of car it should be compared to is GLC 63s, X3MC and Alfa Stelvio mid size performance SUV or you just comparing them to SUVs with V8?

Curious on how they even got the crackles and that exhaust sound being street legal emissions exhaust? Any street setup I know are running a tune with CAT deletes just to get that sound or with non compliant HFC's!

Definitely sounds good but this would be last on my list of fast SUVs. This is most likely the slowest out of the competitors and the most boring looking. I think the RSQ8 is one of the best looking cars on the road today

You've mislead people on.. The 22'' wheel you have on this vehicle you drove you CAN NOT get continental tires for it , Pirelli is the only tire manufacture currently making the 265/40/22 front, & 295/35/22 XL summer, all-season and winter tire sizes the 22" JLR option on this SVR. #2 The reason why it breaks loose in the rear is because the 22" Pirelli pZero tires are horrible tires with know weak side walls. Even taking entrance or exit ramps at 70-80 mph, you can feel the side walls flexing. Jaguar F'd up on picking these weird sizes for the 22'' wheels. If you want to get this vehicle only pick the 21'' wheels . I have a 2020 and I'm removing the 22'' , and putting 21s on with much better choices of tires to put on it.
