I went to the Voron AE as my do-everything vehicle after I got sick of my Paystar falling over all the damn time. Definitely felt OP even at mid levels (and BONE STOCK other than tires!) and should have a level lock of some sort. Doesn't make a lick of sense for these to be available at level 1.

I just started the game. I’d rather take the harder route and enjoy getting stuck. After all that’s the point of the game.

I’m playing hard and taking it slow. What really helped was boosting original chevy scout with good tyres and unlocked all upgrades on the map. Still using original trucks and what I found

i got the tayga sold it and bought the azov but idk if i regret selling it is the tayga good?

It's awesome, but without upgrades, especially for the geological exploration, maybe Azov is really better. But once you find the raised suspension for Tayga and upgrade the tires, it is THE BEST :) And it's not as terribly slow as Azov.

I did geo exploration with stock tyga ... it’s the best choice and free...

Seriously you shouldn't buy a Russian truck in the beginning when the best truck the tayga is around the corner form the garage and its free

That is true! The azov is the safest bet, slow, steady and will get the job done for sure. While the Voron will struggle a little bit some times but will be usually faster. Tnx for watching and leaving such nice feedback

The paystar tips way easier then any voron could ever tip, while i drive my voron D on an incline by the time you get to the first half of the incline your paystar would have already tipped over like a cow

Im level 10 now and Im still using the fleetstar. If you have the time, the fleetstar with upgrades is unstoppable

Truth! I completed the entire Michigan campaign with just the Fleetstar. I did the long logs mission "Timber for the locals" and took the route where you go down the hill with a hairpin turn and then took it over the "broken bridge" to go the back way to lumber mill no problem (all three trips, ha!). I watched a youtube about that mission and the dude was using the taygar and he literally drove the highway all the way around to the lumber mill. I mean, play the game as you like (it's your money) but folks act like you can't play the game using a starter truck and that's just wrong on so many levels.

Not really that much better. The biggest unlock you can have is the offroad gearbox and this truck start with one. But I mean, the grind is RLY pleasant regardless

To be fair, you could finish the game with nearly any truck, and some rather good ones can be attained by just driving up to them. But there is no "best" truck in my oppinion. Just best for that one specific job. Some make life easier and some like the mentioned Kolob, are rather satisfying to drive with mowing down trees that blocked your way last attempt. Its all about taste and how much time you want to invest.

Tyga is the best. Close to garage of the first Russian map. It’s free. You can do geo task in stock tyga . It is the best.

These trucks are very competent (even bone stock!) and level well. The Tayga is arguably better but the biggest thing it offers is that is has a mud tire option that is just GONZO. Other than that the biggest difference is that it has slightly more responsive steering. I love my Voron AE because it sits low and goes anywhere. But it's turning radius is less than ideal for some things (like being used with a semi trailer). But if you need to get something done the Voron will do it. Period.

As a mod truck, ya most are OP and great for starting out. For Vanilla trucks (those that came with the game and not a third party mod truck), most of the Russian trucks are better than the US ones.

It's good for maintaining speed through moderate terrain. Like light mud or dirt since gear shifts can slow you down especially when the truck decides to downshift into first.

It took me FOREVER to finally figure it out. It's a "high" gear meant for crusing but definitely not the highest. If you have an 8 speed gearbox it's kind of like the equivalent of winding out until 5th. But that winding out is crucial because in auto the game keeps your revs down and shifts when it feels appropriate. But it can also bog down and shift right down to 1st which is a pain. The other thing is that you never go too fast in this gear. So you can drive on better roads at higher speeds though you might have to feather the throttle some. Anyway short answer as to gameplay: Start in auto then switch to high as soon as you are rolling. Then if you're topped out (and you feel like it) switch back to auto if you really want to fly down the road. Also with a powerful vehicle going over mud this gear kind of keeps the pedal floored and lets you spin the tires to kind of brute-force your way through. (However this can also lead to you getting stuck if you're not careful!) Also: much like with low gear this is high "only" and does not automatically switch to reverse.

Tbh, this game is the exact opposite of grinding. I mean, the whole idea of the grind is to make the game challenging. Also there are no micro transactions. Only a season pass. You should try it, if you don't like it, return it for free as long as you played for less than 2h

Don't even need the pass to have fun. And this game is very NON grindy once you figure it out. It allows for a lot of experimentation and ****ing around with no penalty. And it lets you play any way you want. The only time I ever grinded anything was once when I was low on cash I ran a time cash/xp mission a few times back to back. But I later realized I didn't understand the way in-game money works and didn't need to in the first place. Don't grind. Have fun. Explore. Take your time. Experiment and tweak your strategies to your heart's content. Look at flowers and creepy buildings and pretty lakes if you like. It's your game, your playground. Do what you want. Life is too short to waste grinding in a video game.

BRB watching your videos for tips because my Chevy is ass on the trails and I don't know what to tackle first because 3000 dollars and 50 stars or so didn't seem great, there has to have been a better way to go.
