Hi mate. I just bought a 1-year subscription for Envato Elements for video editing, but the licensing aspect seems like it's going to be a nightmare for KZfaq monetisation. If we're using around 20 or 30 short stock clips per video and use (and re-use) them on hundreds of videos, how are we to keep track of what we've used where? A seperate license is needed for each subsequent use of the clip, and a seperate copyright claim will be made on KZfaq until I dispute each one individually with the licensing details. I also seem to get copyright claims at random times. They don't all come at once when the video has been uploaded. This means the claimant is monetising my video until i dispute it. Is there any way around this? Appreciate your time, and thanks for the great videos.

That sounds like a pain to deal with. Did you figure it out? Really makes me reconsider if I want to commit for Envato Elements at all.

Hey, thanks for the great video. When I had compared Artist with Epidemic sounds last time, I recollect Artist had a restriction that for commercial purposes I can't use the audio that I have already downloaded when I had subscription - if I don't have the subscription at the time of using the audio. Is it still the same?

how the copyright of encaro element works? what happen with my videos once the subscription has finish and I dont need to pay envaro? should I pay them all my life in order to have the videos online¡?

This is what it says in their license page about that: "If you unsubscribe, you can no longer use items from Envato Elements. However, any existing uses that you registered are still covered. Now that's peace of mind!"

Great advice - you could buy a month and load up on the stock footage you need on works in progress.

If you read the licensing fine print, I think you’ll find you cannot do this. Just checked the Envato Elements and you can not do that with their elements.

Be warned though, that some sites require you to have an active subscription at the time of uploading your videos with the stock material in. You may risk violating their terms if you publish your video after cancelling your subscription.

Hey Justin! I've seen vids that have stock video animations that run for the entirety of the video. Ie: A porch with rain coming down. The sites you go through here only give you 1 minute vids, even on paid options. So.. do you know where to get the longer animated footage? 🤔

@@savinggracechurch4112they don't delete the video, because the date of uploading was when your subscription was active- you paid for it. you cannot upload after it ends

Thinking of starting stock footage with a DJI pocket 3, but do clips shot using a full mirrorless lense get better sales? 3. Can you submit your stock footage to multiple stock footage sites?
