Ironman was good but TDK is just packed. Not just a superhero movie but the plot, acting, story everything was just another level. I don't hate MCU but none of those movies come closer to what Nolan did. Kids cheer-up when they see their superhero but it also needs Story, Plot and Acting to keep the audience focused then come back and watch it again and again.

I think people misunderstand why they were both great. Iron Man was good as a movie, but became great for what it started. It built upon the success of blade and Spider-Man trilogies to the the start of a 10 year run of great Marvel Movies. The Dark Knight was great regardless of the trilogy it was in, or the other Batman entries before it. One of the greatest thriller genre movies of all time.

He's underselling his own importance. The man who launched the MCU and was unquestionably the main character in a series of movies that spanned a decade. His death scene is one of the saddest, most iconic scenes in cinema history. RDJ is amazing and brilliant. No one could have embodied Tony Stark as well as him and I'm happy to have watched his Iron Man movies, his one Captain America movie and his Avenger movies. Oh and his amazing, iconic roll in Tropic Thunder. Man's a truly wonderful talent

@@noachlive i greatly disagree. Most people hate it for some reason, but iron man 2 is actually an incredible movie. I know it doesnt have a real beginning or end and theres not as much action, but thats exactly how the empire strikes back is (the greatest sequel of all time). Watch all 3 of them again and you will see that they fit together perfectly. I will admit the third movie is a little off aesthetically, but otherwise fantastic. Remember dark knight rises is a flawed movie as well but that doesnt mean the greater plot and message of these trilogies isnt perfectly written and acted.
