Konta was not acting in this, the crowd were being abusive and constantly interrupting play by being so loud during points. They even went as far as to insult her sports psychologist who recently committed suicide. The Romanian coach Nastase was removed from the arena for abusing the GB players with sexist comments. Before that night he had made a racist comment about Serena and after that match he had abused several British journalists as well. Even the Romanian team was pretty disgusting in the way they handled, reacted to, and defended the situation. Only Niculescu who stepped up as Coach for Nastase, and Halep who took the microphone and asked the crowd to be quiet and have respect showed any decency from the Romanian side. If you think otherwise you seriously lack brain cells.
