Personally, I reckon that the 23Zero Bandit Swag 900 is the best swag in Australia. It is an incredibly high quality swag with tons of great features.
If you are on a tight budget, I would recommend the Kings Escape Deluxe Single Swag. It's probably the best balance of quality and price and out there.

Bought the 1100 dusk to dawn thanks to your review, an excellent swag, from memory the poles were upgraded so no problems there. Did a 3 week trip in wind and rain, warm and cool nights and no leaks. Rained steadily all night one night, water puddled outside and still no leaks.

They don't make them like they used to. 3 months in and one of my poles broke, peg snapped and swag was leaking through 2 different areas.

Great Review I have a Darche Air Volution 900 Love the air poles , pump up no broken poles , Roomy, similar to dusk to dawn with access from both sides . Fine mossie mesh . I use mine on a stretcher but have found found the 50mm matress very comfortable. Slightly larger when rolled up but Quality in all areas. Doesnt have to be pegged so great for use inside as well

AOS single deluxe is tough as old boots. Made in Australia makes it the winner. 10 year warranty is unbeatable. Comes with a carry bag. Yes the single is not the best so the deluxe is better. Totally waterproof and bug proof. The only swag that’s a real swag. No I don’t work for them nor did I get mine for free. It’s simple and bulletproof. I’m sick of stuff made in China. Buy cheap buy twice. 👍😎

Great review. I've never camped. My concern would be ability to cope with weather extremes, mosquitos, fresh air, and hot feet. My feet get hot in bed in summer, so I have them hanging off the edge, so is that possible in any of the swags?

Great reviews, going for the 23 zero , I think after watching many reviews and yours these are a great all rounder, I hear the wails about being Chinese but the aussie made swags do not seems to offer what I am after.

Great review thanks, i was almost ready to buy the Kings as my Kings escape swag is too hard to get into while it's on my stretcher, but after hearing the Kings leaks i'll go for that 23 Zero. My current Kings swags leaks and i wouldn't want another leaky swag..

Best swag for motorcycle is the Cooper swag rolls up small with air mattress and sleeping bag.

Thanks mate, you’ve done an amazing amount of research!! Would you think about doing one on 4x4 tyres? What the numbers mean. By the way I’ve got a kings big daddy deluxe and it’s doing well but the poles are a bit rougher.

Are the guy lines on the 23ZERO long enough to stake in the ground if the tent were on a camping cot 30 to 40 centimeters high? Do you see any safety issues with this set up? It's hard to get up from the ground after sleeping all night!

Im not sure how the OZTENT made your swag list as its clearly a smallish tent, doesn't have any features of a traditional swag. AOS Bushman is a fantastic swag even if you purchase the king single version its still cheaper than some of these other swags you have reviewed. If you want a swag that will last 20 years or more buy an AOS Swag or Murchison River Swag, both Australian made with great service and both have a 10 year warranty.

My Mitchell single swag is great 👍. I have used it for years and it’s never leaked. Perfect bang for buck, I can’t fault it

Likewise I've been running the Mitchell single for 8 years, canvas base on mine not PVC, much better for a stretcher to allow airflow. Spent well over 100 nights and its been a champ, canvas has copped a hiding a still going strong. Thought I would try the Kings Double so bought one but it was horrible, poor quality and the side walls cave in and reduce the internal volume.
