I returned the Phopik because the Joilcan was more robust but I really prefer the QD legs on the Phopik. Thanks for the comment. Please subscribe and share.

These two are so similar, it is likely they come from the same factory. The Joilcan claims to have 25 mm diameter legs and 38 mm aluminum ball. A large ball is especially valuable, imo. Does the Phopik have those features? If not, it is a major plus for the Joilcan .

The ball size was the same or close enough that I didn't notice. But the components of the Phopik plate clamp included polymer, while the Joilcan was all aluminum. Thanks for the comment. Please subscribe and share.

Thank you for this review. Would you say the Joilcan is able to withstand a vertical hold of a Canon 5D Mark IV with CANON EF 70-200 2.8L IS III LENS??

Easily. Mine held up my camera and telephoto rig which is about 7.8lbs together and with the video monitor and battery attached too, holds about 10lbs or gear.
