@@rinchendorjee6873nah. Ppl just go off in the comments every time he loses a game. There’s been a ton of rebuilds where he’s won games, close games. Nobody says a thing. Obviously he’s not a good 2K player, we all know this. He doesn’t play the actual gameplay like ever. It’s more fun to see someone who wins like 30-40% of the time than someone who wins legit 95%+, at that point it’s just pointless bc every game they hop in to they’re just getting a W. He’s not good at on ball defense at all that’s the main thing. He needs to just off ball, ESPECIALLY against dynamic guards like a Donovan Mitchell he’s gonna get absolutely cooked. He should just help, guard a corner shooter, preferably one that isn’t a sniper, and just hedge & recover. It’d go way better if he did that. Then on offense he’s gotta just learn a couple basic things. Learn how to flip the screen when calling for one like in that game against CLE. He called for the screen and there was a second defender just chilling on the left side. If he flipped the screen to the right it would’ve worked. Then in last second situations he’s really indecisive. He ran floppy for I think Reed Sheppard, and he absolutely had enough daylight to let that fly and should’ve shot it 10000% with 5s left or w/e. Bc if he doesn’t then the possession is just cooked and he’s gotta settle for some really bad fadeaway etc. He’s using different teams every time so he’s not gonna have the releases down. Can’t expect that at all. But ya just learn how to flip screens, be more decisive in last second situations…like unless you’re smothered on a floppy you take it and it’ll be fine. That shot would’ve been at worst maybe lightly contested or something. Then in half court, play off ball defense, hedge and recover. In transition just try not to give up the easiest buckets, use the C if you need to stop an easy layup, then go back to off ball on a shooter as soon as it’s set. That’s all he needs to do really. Also if it’s on HOF, prolly turn it down one difficulty? No need to play against HOF CPU. Learning that simple stuff would legit take him maybe 15-20 mins max and would make him a lot better. He’d at least not give up wide open layups/dunks/3s nearly as much which is usually what gets him. That and the play falling through and having to take an atrocious shot.

A young and inexperience team is how you lost that Game 7 against the Cavs. I thought you played well down the stretch for the most part and maybe should have kicked it out to Miller for three instead of Sheppard on that floppy play. No team has come back down from 3-0 but it was nice to see the Hornets almost make history. Glad to see Reed Sheppard utilized right away. Once he gets drafted by other teams he rarely plays and is buried on the bench until his 2nd or 3rd year. He does develop nicely. With more usage he could have averaged about 23-25ppg.

@MrWithmere2 ай бұрын
Who are the 5 undersized guards? What on earth are you talking about? LaMelo is jump sized at 6'7, Cody is 6'6. The only 3 I can think of are NJS, Tre, and Micic. Even so that makes 1 undersized guard (NSJ) and 2 guys we got for free to get off of Gordan's money.
@papajohn74132 ай бұрын
@@MrWithmere nsj, tre, micic, Bailey, curry and all besides curry deserve playing time. That’s what on earth I’m talking about buddy😂drafting another undersized guard is only gonna cut someone that we have been developing already out the rotation.
@MrWithmere2 ай бұрын
@@papajohn7413 So you mention one legit thing here, which is NSJ. He was super up and down last season but I hope he develops. Tre, Micic, and Curry are all on the last years of their contracts. You really shouldn't alter your number 6 overall pick to fit for scraps we picked up at the trade deadline on the last year of their deals-- a rookie contract would be better anyway for the payroll. Also injuries on is atrocious. It sounds better in theory than it ends up being, bc 2K messes so much stuff up. Broken leg out 8-12 weeks, dudes back in like 2 weeks. Guy who’s never been injured ever has 9 injuries in a season and never progresses again even tho he’s super young. I don’t see what’s fun about that. It’s not as if he only runs 7 man rotations in the regular season or something. He plays a lot of guys, sometimes too many. Even in the playoffs it was 9 man rotations, so I don’t see what the issue is honestly. Just my opinion.
