Man, don't buy the iPad 10th gen. It's needlessly more expensive, for no reason, and still supports the first gen Apple pencil which can't even pair or charge with the tablet. Buy the iPad Air 4. Better screen, better build quality, better chip, better pencil that just snaps to the side and pairs and charges seamlessly for around the same price. The 10th gen iPad is a slap in the face to consumers and a waste of money. If a budget iPad is really what you're looking for, the 9th gen is a great deal. As is the 8th. The only thing 99% of people are going to use it for is for youtube and browsing social media, anyway. Don't waste your money.

I’m surprised most people feel that way fr. I’ve had my 10th gen since its released, and its felt like a nice upgrade from my 8th gen. The Apple Pencil dilemmas definition sucks, but I’ve been using the Logitech crayon for years anyway so it was no big deal to me. I probably would’ve bought the iPad Air 4 had I did some better research before, but I definitely don’t feel this iPad is a waste of money. I think it ultimately depends on your lifestyle and what you need it for

For day-to-day tasks, ipad 10 is the budget-friendly option out there but ipad air 5 is a better machine and future proof.
