We review the Shipwreck Reef Cafe at SeaWorld San Diego in March 2021 during the Seven Seas Food Festival. The menu is a limited time menu that is offered only during the Seven Seas Food Festival, but the general type of food remains consistent throughout the year.
The menu is:
Grilled Bacon Cheeseburger
Impossible Burger
Kickin' Fried Shrimp
Hot Honeyracha Chicken Wings
Honey-Hoison Glazed Salmon
They also offer kids meals. Everything is currently a la carte, meaning the meals do not come with sides or fries. You need to purchase the fries separately, but this also allows you to choose any item on the menu as being eligible for the Seven Seas Food Festival because all entrees are $8.99
Shipwreck Reef Cafe has some of the best theming and the largest seating area of any restaurant at SeaWorld San Diego.

Today was my first day working in SeaWorld in Hibisco Mexican restaurant and I highly recommend you next time you visit!

Yes! Hibisco is my favorite restaurant at SeaWorld. Just ate there on Saturday. This is a pretty old video. Congrats on the new job!

Do you know about the quarantine requirements if we are traveling from AZ and stay at hotel in Los Angeles for 2 nights? Thanks in advance PS . We are planning to go on March 18-20

That’s going to be a question for your hotel in LA. There are no quarantine restrictions in San Diego, but I know LA did have some earlier this year. Whether those have been changed or not, I don’t know. You may want to consider staying at a hotel in Orange County if the 10-day quarantine for travelers outside of 120 miles away is still in effect.

Not particularly? They have the same exhibits they’ve always had. But the main 4 exhibits are Penguin Encounter, Wild Arctic, Shark Encounter and Turtle Reef

Hey Trevor, so, is the food there expensive and bad? Honestly I’d still eat a burger over there, plus I have enough money

I don’t remember exactly how I reviewed this one (without rewatching), but I will say that the last two times we were there we weren’t super happy with it. The first time was because the burger was cold, like not even close to warm and the second time was because it took us 30 minutes to check out at the register AFTER we already had our food, which of course resulted in it being cold yet again. Manta Pizza and Hibisco have better tasting food in my opinion, but if you want a burger and don’t mind low expectations, it’s a fine enough place to eat as any.

Great video . Do they allow snacks and drinks inside for kids ?

Definitely. We pack a lunch for our youngest every time we go. Our oldest shares with Grandma because she never eats her whole meal. But packing snacks and sandwiches is a regular part of our days in the parks.

@@SoCalDisneyDad Thanks a lot . We are planning to go on Sunday . Was wondering if you have any other tips before we go ? The park opens at 10am , so do you suggest we go early ?

@@chaitinew We are going to be there again on Sunday as well! I always recommend arriving at park opening. You might encounter less lines for vehicle entry later in the day, but the later it gets the busier it will be. If you want to check out some shows, I’d highly recommend doing them before Noon. Catch the 11 or 12 shows. They were completely full later in the day.

So is that burger only for 7 festival feast? So If I dont have the festival feast punch card can I not get the Burger?

You can order the burger, no problem! No punch card needed. But that burger will likely disappear from the menu after the Seven Seas Festival is over and they’ll replace it with a different burger. There’s always a burger at this place though.
