Welcome to a new VINTAGE WEEKEND!!!
Today I selected the BEST THRIFT SHOPS in ROME, and we are shopping there together.
We are walking on the streets of Rome, finding the two best CHARITY SHOPS that I selected for you: they are both Humana Vintage shops.
Join me in this new thrift adventure!
Humana is a chain of stores, you can find 3 Humana Vintage shops in Rome and they are all in the city center.
The Humana Association is a humanitarian organization that promotes sustainability in the textile sector, and it supports development programs all around the world.
Shopping at Humana Vintage is a cool way to help people, let's do it!

@@VintageWeekendsItaly Did you ever find out which part of Florida your friends will be traveling to? They should use Google Maps on their phones to find "thrift stores". They are rarely called anything else here. We have Goodwill locations everywhere. If they are curious about what it's like to buy per pound here they should try to find a Goodwill Outlet. I will warn them... it is a little bit crazy 🤣 but it is certainly an experience. I am more familiar with the South East Coast of Florida and the South West Coast where I live... not so much the more Northern parts of the State.

My friends are visiting Miami and Tampa, I think they would like to go to a flea market rather than in a store... Do you have any flea market to suggest? Or garage sale?

@@VintageWeekendsItaly Most of the flea markets in Miami have mostly new items but they might find a couple vintage vendors. The food is delicious! I recommend they go early because it gets too hot in the afternoon. The Florida heat and humidity in summer time is horrible. If they will be driving around to explore... American Thrift Store in Hollywood, FL is a great thrift store. Shell Factory in North Fort Myers (between Tampa and Miami) would be a nice place to stop. They have flea markets in the mornings some days and they have restaurants, shops and other attractions - fun place. Not too expensive. They can look at their website. In Tampa, they will have more luck finding nice vintage pieces for good prices (in both thrift stores or flea markets). The flea markets in Tampa are always better on the weekends. 🙂 I hope my tips help. 💕

Hello! 😊👋 I don't think I will make a video dedicated only to clothes for teenagers (just because unfortunately I'm not a teenager anymore 😭) but if you follow my channel you will see that sometimes I thrift for clothes that could be stylish for teenagers too! Hello Archana, sorry but I have no idea, since I'm not living there, I don't know many shops and markets... All the shops that you've seen in this video are a little expensive, so I suggest looking out of the center of Rome! 😆 Have a look also at my other video about shopping in Rome, if you haven't already! How can something, anything, especially fabric, be too ethnic, and what dos that really mean? Perhaps from your choices it could mean too artful, decorative, or bold. Ah, and that is what the scarves supply, just a wee bit of subtle artful brightness peeking out from a fold, but without any risk. Really, it is you that make designer clothes look good, not the labels. Just an observation!

Hello Jerry, thank you for your comment! 😊👋 When I say "too ethnic" I mean that I see some "ethnic" peculiarities, that maybe I like, but they just are not matching my personal style at the moment. Of course it is just an opinion, there's no other meaning than that. 🤗 This is not a documentary, it's a channel (my hobby!) where I express my thoughts and have fun with clothing. I like labels, I also like unbranded clothes, I have both in my wardrobe. In my personal experience good labels often correspond to a better quality and better cut, and I like that! Then of course I agree with you, it is you that make designer clothes look good. But they are a very good starting point! 😉😉😉

Hello, you can search with Google maps "mercatino franchising" or "mercatopoli", they are the biggest chains of second hand items here in Italy, and they have some shops in Rome! 😉👋🇮🇹
