This was soooo helpful! I’m new to string of pearls and some are mushy and some are getting dried out. I have them in a ceramic glazed pot so I’ll definitely be moving them to a terra cotta pot. Thanks!

Can we propagate string of pearl from it's pearl???

Yes, we can propagate from its pearl but it’s quite difficult since most leaves (pearls) might rot. That’s why we suggest that you should propagate string of pearls from cuttings.

@@ducnguyen5689 I tried... All my other succulents have grown new babies... But Somehow I'm not able to propagate string of pearls... Some of the pearls died while other look perfect... However, there's no root

How often do I water the newly propagated leaves in dirt?

Most when the top soil is dry pretty heavily every couple or few days until you know the roots are deeper in the soil. So for a while. I messed up by stopping misting so much but they’re coming back.

Not supposed to spray the pearls, just water the soil once a week or when soil is dry. Or you can water the soil from the bottom by placing the potted plant in another bigger pot with water in it and place it in for 5 minutes to absorb water from the bottom

Hi there, you're right we agree with you. In our video, we also said that you should avoid spraying water on the leaves, you can watch it again at 1:22 ^^
