I haven’t started my KZfaq yet! But I am in the works of structuring it. I have to say I feel super overwhelmed by being on camera because I never really valued it before. Note that it is all still growing in my head and inspirations are new every day but I right now my main goal is to start my first Chanel about me and literally just focusing on expressing myself and having good KZfaq structure and practice and the other would be a podcast with video and audio format. This idea has been in my head and honestly your videos give me so much value. It’s about starting and I’m new (like literally one week training in even using my iPhone camera to take pictures and videos. None of those skills where valuable to me before) to this and I was wondering if I could send KZfaq content to you and get feedback on it?? Your videos made me open minded to the possibilities I have if I just start. Thank you!

I fish and have used an igloo cooler as my tripod many times. I even went as far as putting a 1/4 20 bolt through the lid. I've now got a couple cheap tripods but use my monopod the most.

I have to say I gave up making videos on my other channel. It just didn't feel right because the topic was NOT something I could talk naturally about. However, I fortunately became inspired again and this time found that talking about money management and wise spending hits the right spot. Easy for me to talk about because of my experience living near-broke with a young family (on a grad student stipend). Talking about my real experiences is so much better!

I love that it goes so tall. I’m 6 ft tall and as a golf instructor, I sometime need a full body shot to demo in vids. I had JUST ordered the K&F tripod recommended by Sean in an earlier video, but I think I’ll need to exchange...that 77” is a game changer for me!!

I actually own this exact same tripod. It’s definitely an amazing bang for your buck. I’m 6’2” so having a nice and talk tripod is something I definitely prefer. They also released a updated version that looks pretty sick too.

I love lightweight gear. Although one thing I'd love to pick up sometime is a tripod that's similar to this one in terms of portability, but with a fluidhead!

I have a similar tripod but noticed that the ball head on these is a bit poor when it comes to stability. Even if fully tightened it sometimes changes its position by a few millimeters, which can be really a pain when doing stop motion-type photography since all your stuff will be slightly out of alignment. Something to keep in mind :)

Victiv 81” is a variant of this one, over the top rugged. Higher payload, if your using a super telephoto or telescope for stills. The pan with a rubber band or my wife’s hair tie is just excellent, for video I have both this one and the victiv. Really appreciate thinks videos. Helping us a lot as we transition to video for new projects coming this spring to KZfaq the victiv is future proof it supports heavier equipment.

This looks great. I'm only concerned about the tilt. I'm new to tripods. You can still set the tilt of the camera before filming, right? It's just not possible to do tilting shots. If so, this seems like my next... Or maybe the victiv mentioned below. So glad others have done the research to stretch my miniscule budget!

I shoot with a Sony a7R iv attached to a 24-70 GM lens, it can get front heavy... My question is, While I set the camera to "portrait mode", will the locks on it keep it from tilting forward?

As previously mentioned, this is a GREAT tripod if you're tall and you actually want to stand in your videos or take timer photos without chopping off your head or scrunching down - the foldability makes it easy to take it on the road. Bummed mine didn't come with the 🐿️ helper option!

Can you shoot overhead with this? I mean like can you look straight down? I’m wanting to film myself playing piano and I’m looking for a good decent tripod to where I can film my hands playing my piano at a relatively cheap price, I want at least one overhead tripod for filming, I will be using phones and will probably buy lenses so I can use any other advice.

I bought this same tripod, it's on its last leg after just over a year. It mainly stayed in my studio. I'm not too disappointed because of the cost. My primary tripod is a Manfrotto BeeFree tripod.

I do KZfaq videos but my setup requires a tripod that can stand a little tall but tilt down to show me in my chair. I was hoping this tripod would do that for me but I guess not unless I change my setup

I bought this tripod specifically because I’m tall. But, I didn’t really like the ball head, so I later got a regular pan-head for it (www.amazon.com/dp/B013ZTZ3CM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_lZyvEbQCN0MY6). So it’s really easy to switch out the heads. If I’m shooting outdoors on uneven ground, I use the ball head. If I’m shooting indoors, then I use the pan-head.

This looks exactly like the K&F Tripod that I just purchased (based on your recommendation) except that it's taller. Now I wish I had waited.😐 One cool thing about the K&F and this one as well is that it will accept an Arca Swiss plate so my Smallrig cage for my M50 mounts without an adapter plate.

Super tall but can't double as selfie stick or attach to things like trees or poles. Hmm, so many tripod options I'm sorting through! That is a very good point about how eye-level videos can look so good though so you may have sold me on this! Many tripods are so short.
