Best tubing on the San Marcos river in San Marcos Tx. Close to Austin and San Antonio. The river is spring feed, a perfect 72 degrees year round. Causal float or go over the rapids. Rent a tube for $14. Links below for directions and the Lions Club in San Marcos.

Oh man I remember going on my birthday in June and the day before it was so hot and then the day we went tubing is was 50 degree weather....fun
