This video is about upgrading the rear tyre for my Royal Enfield Bullet Standard 350. The tyre I have installed is the Michelin Sirac Street - 110/90/19, priced me Rs.2300/- including installation charges at a store in South Kolkata.
There are few more good tyres but there were many good reasons for which I chose the Michelin Sirac Street.
Just look details inside the video.
For purchasing the tyre, ask from local tyre shops, because before purchasing this, I checked with Amazon and Flipkart, and the prices were much than the off-line shops/dealers.

Hi Deep, I consulted Salim he's a bike mech in Tiraati Nr Poddar Court , he suggested me Ceat Milaze or MRF Nylogrip both 3.5/19 . According to him it's stable on all terrains, MOGRIP or SPEED BLASTER are better suited for Mud Terrains & it skids on plain roads. Michelin according to him is very soft & in case of puncture its flattens out more compared to Milaze or Nylogrip.

Yeah rightly said. But Michelin provides a stable grip both in city and off roads. I have been using this tyre since long and so far it is good.

Classic me to rear 18 inch ka rim ha. Michelin ka mil jayega bhai aapko. Accha tyre hai. Laga sakte ho. Front ka 19 inch rim ke liye bhi Michelin mil jayega.

Yesterday i Installed mrf 110/90/19 and without any modifications or alterations its working fine. Even though it's not a touring tire because of which there is a slight decrease in comfort, but for comfort one can use MRF 3.50/19 ir CEAT Milaze 3.50/19

Amakeo oneke bolechilo je gutka safe na. But kono kichu nije use na kore bissas na korai valo. Ami ei gutka lagiye pillion niye r 26 kg luggage niye Kolkata theke Darjeeling, Sikkim, aro onek tough terrain e chaliye elam. Ami check kortam majhe majhe kono crack asche kina but ekhono porjonto kono issue hoi ni. Sutorang nischinto thakun sudhu ektu valo quality r holei holo. Amar ta cast iron er.

I also changed it after 18000 kms. Tubeless will be better option. You can easily do it. I use anti Puncture gel for both the tyres.

@@roshanshah5039 See for changing the tyre into tubeless you need to first buy a good alloy, then tyre. Then any mechanic can assemble it. I can give you two references at two different places. Michelin has soft compound while ceat has a hard compound. Grip is better in Michelin. You can choose any one. I will recommend Michelin though.

So puchased a shocker uplifter from a spare parts market and the now the problem has gone. It is installed above the rear shockers both sides. I have completed a 1800 km ride with pillion on this and there were no issues.

See tyre is not that much related with body aches. You can use air seat for your bike if you commute long distance daily.

yeh sahi hai yaar, aap 6 feet ke ho isiliye aapne woh gutka laga diya aur gaadi thoda upar kar liya, but hum jaiso ka kya, hum sirf 5'8" wale bande hai toh hum kya karenge???? kuch aisa solution dikhaya kijiye jo universal ho, naa ki sirf selected logo ke liye.

Yes perfect for electra since in electra u have got nitro suspensions like classic. Nitro suspensions are a bit much higher than the one which I have in my bike, so I guess it will not touch.

Not it will not but it's not a permanent solution. You can install classic suspension for your bike if you want a permanent solution for this and it will be safer.

Syedji, how tall are you??? because is this shock extender suitable to install for riders who are shorter??? because this dude is 6 feet tall so for him its going to be ok, but for riders like me who are only 5'8" tall would this cause any problems while stopping in traffic??? i mean will i be able to put both my feet on the ground or will i have to tip toe with this extender installed????

Brother the shock absorber has provision for extending height by itself. It has some keys in its lower end, which is by default set at 2.5 rotation. You have to set it at 5. Avoid this gutka, as you don't know if it's good quality or not, and your life can be at risk if it breaks up while riding.

Yes I know that but it also didn't work. So I used the shock extender. Now the ultimate solution will be changing into RE classic shockers. That will fit with no issue, but it is a costlier option.

Good video! I also own Bullet X 350, planning to upgrade tires.. was planning to change rim to 18 inches.. since I thought that rolling resistance would increase. Is there mileage drop or drop in power delivery with these new tyres ???

This is a common issue in RE and even most of the bikes. Don't worry, I am riding with it for quite long. Nothing will happen.

আমি গতকাল দোকানে গিয়াছিলাম, ফ্রন্ট + রিয়ার 4200. পড়বে বললো,3.50-19 নেই, আনতে দিলাম. গুটকা টা এর যদি কোনো ছবি থাকে দিও. তোমার থেকে কত নিলো tyre দাম জানিও. আমার ডানকুনি তে ralco 2700.tube সমেত, টিউব ছাড়া 300 টাকা কম. আর michline tube niea booth 4200-4300.
