Farron Greatsword all the way. I came across it in my blind play through, and once I learned what it did, I never put it down

Important to note as well, that the fume also doubles as a makeshift shield with good stability and 80% physical reduction, justifying it's weight, and that i automatically block when you enter the weapon art.

Black Knight Greatsword is my favorite member of the UGS family. Almost as great as its older brother, BKGA. The hyper armor you get with the black knight weapons is unreal and it never fails to amaze me how mercilessly it can flatten bosses and players alike. Those heavy attacks are out of this world too

My pick : Black Knight Greatsword, can be farm early at Farron Keep perimeter. No need to worry and infusion and buff. The damage are high, good in Pvp and PVe.

That intro is absolutely phenomenal! Such badass transitions! Love this! My favorites were always astora, black knight, lothric knight, greatsword, cathedral knight, and profaned Ultra greatswords! PVPSkillz, you have amazing editing and camera work. But it all requires another player to record you, does it not? Or are you recording another player doing some of these things? Can't exactly tell how you're doing all this, but I will say that it'd be a million times easier on PC. So build a PC. Build a PC and come get the fistins. Your videos will improve for it, and you can get a free fistin.

Personally, I _LOVE_ the Greatsword. The heavy two handed attack, when charged, is almost a guaranteed knockdown should it connect, and is probably among the highest damage attacks in the game, when it comes to purely physical damage. It also is one of 2 UGS's with a rolling attack that slashes, rather than thrusts, which is nice.

"Hey guys remember that awesome weapon that could block and attack? Yeah we can't be bothered to recreate that so we'll just chuck it's model on a Cathedral Knight Sword with a Black Knight Greatsword weapon art...."

I think the Lothric Greatsword for faith builds has more potential when infused with a blessed gem. The lightning damage makes it stronger while blessed. I have quite a bit of dex as well so it’s just the perfect weapon for me.

Fume UGS is best UGS. If you've got more than 10 DEX, you're doing it wrong.

Heavy Infused Greatsword is also an excellent choice for STR Builds. Long range, big damage, and a good moveset with wide sweeping horizontal attacks make it great for crowd control.

I gotta stick with THE LEGEND THAT NEVER DIES!! Seriously tho, I like Astora's, but the Zwi just have more fun factor for me and I feel like it's got just the right amount of range and moveset variation to really confuse people in PVP, and is very effective for PVE as well. Also, it's moveset works well 1 or 2 handed, so even if you suck at weapon-swapping you can still have a chance at parrying if you have a shield in your off-hand.

Am I the only one annoyed at how powerful the dex stat is this time around and how absurd it is you need dex to make half these swords viable. The greatsword defined strength in dark 2, now it's a quality weapon.

This was sick, you earned a subb, I mostly do PVE so I favorite the lothric knight ultragreatsword.

I like my zwei for several reasons. 1)for nostalgia 2)no greatswords have great run attacks, or fast swings, and zwei is the easiest to use with an offhand weapon 3) decent moveset

Profaned Greatsword is my absolute favorite Ultra greatsword. Not too heavy, deals great damage and poise damage which is great for ganks! And the weapon art which sets the sword on fire while swinging it in the air and gets extra fire damage. And it looks great as well. 100% one of my favorites!

Lorian's Greatsword is my favorite for high level. Im currently playing a PvE pyromancer, so its rocking pretty hard. Killed invaders with it as well. I love Stomp WA, its just so good,.

I use the profaned greatsword, because it really sings to me in a way. I use it in the arena and it absolutely decimates the other person or team. So this one has my vote.

Watching you parry with a greatshield deserves its own category of awesome. I don't mean "that's pretty awesome" awesome, I mean the awesome that was used to describe God's wrath in the Old Testament. That kind of awesome, that makes you feel scared, and inspired, at the same time. Thank you, for opening this possibility to me. EDIT: There's no way I am going to not make this happen on one of my runs..

Astora Ultra-greatsword is a really great weapon but my personal favorite will always be the Farron Ultra-greatsword.

i know this video is 6 years old, but man that intro editing went unreasonably hard

Fume Ultra Greatsword is DS3 easy mode. seriously, Two-hand R2 staggers MOST enemies. It 2-shot the Gargoyles of the Profane Capital and Lothic Castle. By level 110, below Meta, I was dishing out easily 600 damage to most bosses even in Co-op. It's a monster that I tamed and I accept no other. Sure it's slow. I just use the Grass Crest Shield and a Chloranthy Ring to counter to the stamina loss per attack and it works very well. What isn't killed by the R2, is killed by the follow-up R1. It's block is 80%. It S-ranks at+5 too. So a full sixty Strength with two-handing it.. unbeatable. And yes, I have beaten many invaders who came into my game using FUGs.

i personally really love the greatsword, its so good in pvp. i think you should also do like a sorcerer build guide for DS3

The highest damage gs is actually the greatsword with chaos infusion and 30 int and faith, or capping out at 40 int and faith but doesn't really get much more damage after 30 int/faith, then pair that with the fire clutch ring then it becomes a beast.

For me what makes the Farron Greatsword so good for me is if you use it's sliding weapon artr while you and an enemy are charging at each other you can use the arte to get behind enemies. not only that the dagger can stagger enemies also if you have more stamina to continue the Arte its an unstoppable combo. I love this sword a lot.

that editing between swords across all three games was FLAWLESS!

I tried a build of dexterity+strength, and I powered up to 10 the lothrics knight ultragreatsword. It does 800 damage infused with a refined gem two handed with 40 dex and 50 strength. I also tried the astoras ultragreatsword with the same character and same stats, and it's true that it's very useful in pvp, but I definitely think that the best ugs is the Lothrics ugs because of its damage and it's two hand attacks.

I honestly think the lothric knight greatsword is the best UGS, horizontal swings (catches rolls), thrust rolling and R2 attacks, and uppercut stomp ability (best stomp imo).

Memes aside, the Zweihander gets A scaling in INT and FAITH simultaneously with dark or chaos infusion. Thing takes a good 3/4ths or more of a person's health with a solid hit of the weapon art, and hyper armor will get you through most trades. I'm sad to say its range has been nerfed, but it's still pretty good.

from really needs to buff the fume sword at least close to its original glory. we have ledo's hammer now, a weapon that holds over 700 AR of pure strike damage when buffed, why does the fume sword have to be so wimpy for its weight and requirements :/

Cathedral knight greatsword has a true combo r1>r2, also I think it's worth mentioning that the r2 of the zweihander is special in that if you tap it, it's about the same speed as an r1 and has extremely good range, this r2 is definitely a plus for me

I would really like to see a cleric build guide because so far I have loved your to other ones where you are a sorcerer and a pyromancer😆
