If You're a Hiker in the White Mountains, Don't Miss Out on This Local Favorite. An Unforgettable Hike to Crag Camp, a Remote Backcountry Cabin in the Clouds. Heading up the less travelled Amphibrach trail located in the Northern Presidential White Mountain Range, just outside of Randolph, NH, we hike along a gorgeous cascade almost all the way up to this backcountry hut built by the Randolph Mountain Club. The first signs of fall are popping and the 603 fall dreamscape is underway! I'm forever grateful you tune in for each video and interact with us in the comments. Magical, enchanted forest. It amazes me that there are still places on earth that can feel so untamed and unowned yet people tend to gravitate where others congregate. Love the camera in the spring.

Yeah I'm not really sure why it's a lot less popular. Maybe the effort or how slippery it is, but worth the extra challenge.

Did that hike 5 years ago with my daughter on a cool mid Sept day, it is a butt kicker, but gorgeous. Brought along a stove and had hot chocolate as we slipped on the puffy jackets. Been to all the AMC huts, but Crag Camp has just jaw dropping views. Thanx’s for taking us along!

Agreed it's deceptively challenging due to the terrain. King Ravine is truly special and you're so right that crag camp is jaw dropping. Have you hiked anywhere recently?

What a great hike! That cabin would be awesome to do a overnighter, that porch would be a great place to have a coffee in the morning. Love the editing style!

Outstanding! Your videos keep getting better and better. I remember you saying that the only camera you use is a gopro and i find that remarkable. A testament to your editing!

Thank you! Yes still using just a gopro hero 9 and shooting in 5k so that I can zoom in and out in editing without losing image quality. Slow motion is only possible in a max of 2.7k but it still looks high def as long as I don't zoom or crop in too much during editing.

The reason the trails like the beautiful one you’re on now, is most people are just wanting to get to the top. We were kids so just played on all the mountains. Like you guys just enjoying the whole experience.

Dan, that's an incredibly good point. By not prioritize summiting over all the other parts, leads to less beaten paths and an overall fulfilling experience. I suppose there's a metaphor in there for life too 😉
