Best Universal Bag and Backpack Options - Bags to Use When Visiting the Universal Theme Parks!

Күн бұрынAre you planning on visiting a Universal Theme Park anytime soon? If so, there are some items you may plan on taking with you and it is helpful to have a bag to keep all of your belongings in! However, there are some things you should know before visiting that will help you choose the best bag option to bring for your visit!
The main factor you should take into consideration when choosing a bag to bring to Universal is the size and dimensions of your bag. For some of the rides at the parks, there are lockers outside where you must store your belongings while on the ride. This is to keep you from losing anything on the rides as well as for everyone's safety.
Be sure to check the size and dimension guidelines before choosing a bag! There are free locker options available, but if your items do not fit in the free locker, you will have to store them in a larger locker that is $2 per use up to $20.
Another bag option that will keep you from having to use the lockers are fanny packs. For some of the rides that require a locker, if you are using a fanny pack you are permitted to take your bag on the ride with you.

Hey Megan! Thanks for this video super helpful! In another video, I found here on KZfaq it was mentioned that the fanny pack had to have a three-prong buckle/clasp I couldn't tell if the one you showed had one. Does it? Wondering because I'm shopping for a fanny pack and neither of the ones I like have a three-prong clasp.

No problem happy to help!! This is a good question, I don’t know that I have heard of the three prong buckle requirement and I don’t know that the one I have has that🤔 i don’t think it does there is just a zipper!

With the loungefly bags are you worried about the rain? Or would you just put it in the plastic bag that you bring for the walker in the downpours?

good question Lynn! Personally I am not concerned with rain with the bags that I have. now if I had a bag that had fur material or that was suede, I would definitely want to keep the bag protected and check the weather before using it. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Would I be able to loop a small zippered wallet on my belt loop (with a key ring) for the rides I have to put my fanny pack in the locker? I hate wearing a lanyard (for my ticket) 😅

I totally understand! I think you should be OK to do that! Also if you have pockets you could probably put the wallet in your pockets!

Do you think the average size Jansport student backpack would fit a free locker?

Yes I do! I would say it is a similar size to the actual locker. Just make sure not to fill it too much or it will be hard to stuff in the locker!
