But Personally I want Cillian Murphy to win his first Oscar or Joaquin Phoenix to win his second. Those two are the best actors of current era and peak of there career.

Hollywood seems to be doing better these days.. At least at putting these Movies together., and the actors. There looking and sounding more believable., ( mostly., more so than say the 2000’s ), than I can remember. With a good sound system.., I almost fall into some of these Universes.. In an immersed fashion. Between the Movies & Video Games.., the entertainment has become something to look forward to again.

Grand Turismo was a Good Movie, I'm not at all into racing or racing movies but it had a Good solid story line, strong acting and was inspiring. I got lucky and got to watch it a month early, and Will Definitely be going to watch it again

I have read the book Dune and I believe it is better to read the book before watching the screenplay as it gives more detail into the world of Dune allowing a better understanding of the story when watching the film. I am very exited to see the second part of the book in the movies, because it covers the more exciting piece of the story. To those who have not read the book I will not spoil it, all I will say is to be prepared for the most thrilling theatrical performance of the next decade.

I am torn on that. I have read the books a dozen or more times in the last 35 years. I love being able to see the subtle things that don't stand out unless you have read it. But I kind of envy people who get to go in not knowing anything about it. Discovering this new world would be so fun. My wife gets to have a little of both. She hasn't read it but I am here to get all excited and explain things for her.

Netflix kills another anime adaptation 😢. Fight choreography looks as bad as Cowboy Bebop’s. Never seen any of those actors before….it’s almost impossible to do a live action of anime. With anime u can do/make whatever u want, with live action it takes too much work, too much CGI….seen live action Attack on Titan? Pure crap. All of them are.

If they were in post prod then they will be fine. Plus, some productions have been able to obtain waivers from SAG/AFTA to keep working on productions that were already shooting.

The strike doesn't mean writers aren't allowed to write in their own time, they just can't get paid for it and productions can't touch scripts at all. If the actors didn't strike studios could make still make shows with any locked off scripts. TV unfortunatly has become this mess where they end up having writers as showrunners and basically writing revisions as they go - it is a really stupid way to do it and slows production down and lows quality but they still go for it. (work in industry and saw this nonsense everyday)

The Blue Beetle looks pretty good especially with the cgi, but let us not forget that it is a not-so-subtle reworking of The Greatest American Hero with William Katt. Hero is given a superpower suit by aliens but loses the instruction manual to endless pratfalls and acquires an FBI handler in hardnosed Robert Culp.

There's obviously some agenda against "One Piece". It looks absolutely AWESOME. Bunch of complete haters in the comments. Kraven, five nights at freddys, Dune 2 and the Creator look pretty good too. I want to like Beetle but the storyline just didn't really seem compelling enough.

@@ErisstheGoddessofmanhwas Actually, usually when the trailor looks good, the movie is also good. And when the trailor is boring or cheesy so is the movie. I've found that its always a pretty direct correlation. But thanks for providing a perfect example of trying to kill excitement for One Piece, which again, for zero reason, seems to be a trend. Noboy is hating on Kraven or Doom 2. Those are adaptions one from a comic and one from a book. Why all the One Piece hate? I suspect its just anti american sentiment. And I think what's going to piss off the Netflix One Piece haters even more is that its going to be insanely good.

Liked the first Ms Marvel movie but the second looks like it was made for woke sorts. Woke directors fail to understand average people don't want to be lectured about how great females are, or racism, or multiculturalism, or homosexuality, migrants, the evil white males, yada yada. A film can include woman, minorities, gay people, migrants, evil white males, etc... but it should pertain to actual plot. What woke directors do instead is peddle woke ideology with the story telling playing second fiddle. The stitch in unnecessary scenes and dialog related to pushing their ideology which ends up ruining the film.
