Great Video. I love my CW C60 Trident Bronze. It is the closest thing I could get to something like an Oris Carl Brashear, but costs significantly less with more impressive specs. They are said to be making a 38mm version of it sometime this year. I actually like the Steinhart Marine Officer Bronze, also. Almost went for one, but to get one bronze watch, I ended up with the CW. Also, although the Steinhart is nice, I'm not crazy about their particular bronze alloy choice. I do not believe it is CuSn8, and thus does not have a warmer copper cue like the CW. It is more gold or brass color. Additionally, the patina will not develop quite the same as CuSn8. Because of its hue and seemingly more resistance to develop a patina as easily as CuSn8, I suspect the bronze alloy used in the Steinhart is one with more tin or aluminum in it.. similar to what the Tudor Black Bay Bronze has. The Anonimo Nautilo is a very interesting offering. That Mont Blanc is very cool with being able to instantly read mutliple timezones at any moment with the rotating hemispheres.

Man the CW logo is just a no go for me

Brass is usually inferior to bronze in sea water; the zinc in the alloy tending to leach out over time; even in alloys designed to resist this. This does not happen with either conventional tin bronzes, or the slightly cheaper aluminium bronzes, both of the latter are used for watches

That Anonimo Nautilo is stunning! As is the Christopher Ward. I am partial to blue though. Actually they're all appealing. Have you seen the Phoibos Eagle Ray Bronze, especially with the meteorite dial? A tremendous value I think.

I'm into buying my first Automatic watch, ever. And I really want one in Bronze and little "High End". So, I have this 3 to choose from at around $600 for each. "Zelos Abyss 2", "Heroic 18 M9400" and "Lum-Tec Combat B18". What should I go for you think? What has the most value? Best movement and quality? Hope you can help me out to choose.😊

What do you think about the Steinhart Ocean One Bronce, its a bronze watch but its half the price than their Marine Officer Bronze

Doesn't brass eventually produce Zinc Oxide and tarnish into white powder, and some brasses have led added to them. Would wearing a led based Brass make the wearer susceptible to led poisoning?

I came across a couple of bronze Ball models the other day that looked pretty nice. They were 43mm, I think. Do you think the larger cases bronze watches seem to come in is due to the fact they are bronze, or a sign of the times?

You can lightly polish the brass to keep it clean of patina, if you scrub harder out will shine more. But, brass also has a strange smell.

What about Zenith Type 20 Extra Special Bronze?. I do like the way it looks.

One thing to note. Brass degrades in salt water. The Zinc exits the alloy leaving pin holes after prolonged exposure. For me Brass on any supposed 300m diver... or anything used at sea for that matter is a no go.

H2O Orca or Kalmar 2 Tungum should be on this list. Also, Zelos has a lot of great bronze watches (Hammerhead, Helmsman 2 just to new a few). Actually, lots of microbrands make a lot of great bronze watches

These small/microbrands are really taking off with brass/bronze watches. There are a metric ton of them producing really good watches with Sellita and NH35 movements. For the most part, these large companies are being left in the dust with their brass/bronze watches. They're actually producing something interesting...

Im not a fan of bronze, however I do appreciate new/unusual materials. I think this component of watch making is not innovated/researched enough. I could imagine that noble wood with extravagant treatment and inlays would make a great dial e.g.

I definitely think that the Christopher Ward is worth serious consideration. I have a question on movements. For example, if Selita is a clone of ETA, how is it different so as not to constitute copyright infringement? What about when an ETA has been modified and the company calls it their own? Is there a minimal amount of changes required to rename the movement? I have be timepieces with ETA, Selita, and Soprad... No complaints)))

Would have liked at least the automatic _'closed captioning'_ enabled. Does that cost the video maker money to enable that feature, or what?

The Ventus wins for me. I remember looking at my friends Christopher Ward with the bezel scratched to hell, I vowed then I would never own one. Sure they are loads better now (or you would hope so!). Does 'patina' mean dirty in some language or other as that is what the 'aged' CW looks like. Only joking but that really just looks knackered to me, personal preference I think sums it up. So not for me.

Think the Zelos Abyss 2 should have been in there. Full Bronze, Swiss Selilta movement and 3000m water resistance under $1k USD

I really like the C60, I’ve owned three at this point. However, the case back is far too flat which makes wearing it on rubber or leather a sweaty experience. And due to the lugs being drilled too close to the main case body wearing it on a NATO isn’t really on. A shame, I love that handset.

Goodness, the dial of the Mont Blanc is ugly. The Trident's second trident is really laughable. (And Christopher Ward? Sounds more like a barrister or a GP.) Who would want to buy, let alone sport a watch named Anonimo, or Ventus Mori? Most watches on AliExpress have better names than that. Good shots btw.
