I dont wanna mention the site out of respect for the Knife Center, but about 2 weeks ago, I was able to bag this variant of the Link on sale! CPM 20CV on a US made aluminum flipper with excellent construction for $60.00! Needless to say, I'm over the moon about it. I feel stupid for overlooking Kershaw until now. Even at the regular price, it is an outrageous value.

I will always have it in my edc rotation which is about 12 of the almost 300 knives I own. Another great carry "for me" is the Spyderco's Amalgam, the Civivi Praxis and Asticus. Value for what you get, gotta say the boker kalashnikov, and the strike!! You can get a side opening auto with fairly decent action and get the upgraded D2 for under 50!! Then I know it’s not gonna be on here, but the la police gear TBFK, you get s35vn for around 50. That’s gonna be one of the best values!! I’ve had one for a few years now, works great!!

Being a Cold Steel fan, all nine of my Cold Steel folding knives that I have bought were under $90. I have the Voyager Large and XL Tanto knives, Voyager Large and XL Drop Point knives, Counter Point One and XL knives, SR1 Lite Tanto, 4Max Scout, and Immortal. On certain days of the week, I EDC my Large Voyagers, Counter Point One, SR1 Lite Tanto, and sometimes my 4Max Scout. The rest are what I call AHC (At Home Carry). Cold Steel has good value in all of their knives and tools!

Love the huge selection of Civivi and Bestech flippers in the $50-$70 range. Materials are showcase nice and that ballbearing action is SWEEEEET! The Kershaw Bareknuckle is my favorite apple peeling knife. The steel sharpens quickly and the thin blade is just perfect for peeling and slicing fruit for my friends and family. The only flaws are the lock bar that you may pinch when flipping the knife when opening it until you learn how to hold the knife and the bearing gunk up with fruit juices very quickly so the knife needs thoroughly washed and lubricated with a drop of food grade mineral oil. Nothing is a show stopper so the Bareknuckle 7777 is definitely worth every penny.

For some reason I keep being drawn towards the SOG Terminus and it's variants, and I'm not in the market for another folder, having a small collection of various Swiss Army, Schrade, and Imperial APEX knives to choose from for different occasions or needs. There is something about that SOG though that has me considering adding another knife to the stable, I guess we shall see.

CRKT are so budget friendly, and now there's a lot of other brands with great options. My first CRKT knife was given to me many years ago(M16) and it's still the only knife sitting out on the counter and used more than anything. Partly because I can abuse it and it doesn't matter, because it was free. It was very used even before I got it. I've only touched up the blade for a few minutes a couple of times over the years. I'm really looking at the budget friendly Civivi offerings and then the Kershaw in this video.

I've never been a folder guy. I told myself that until I find one that appeals to me and has features I want, I'll keep my money. Well, I saw the SOG tac xr and new it was meant to be. I didn't realize until then that the cross bar lock patent had run out. I always figured I'd end up with a Benchmade. Well, I'm ecstatic about my tac xr! This thing is butter smooth thanks to ball bearings, one hand operation, tough, looks bad ass and has a lot of belly. Even though it's made in chynah, it's built better than the Taiwanese made xr's. It's also basically the same size as my esee3 which I edc. I'm still gonna play with the tac a bit more before I go out without my #esee3 though. I would definitely recommend this knife for someone looking for a folder under $100.

Here's a topic and video idea for you based on something I keep taking into consideration: as a person who is in front of a good many people, both in the office and out in the field, I like that my EDC will have a pleasing and stylish 'belt clip' (really, front pocket clip). Of course, this is a very singular focus for a video and knife were it to be the only criteria I based my knife buying on, but it isn't. At this point, instead of being a watch-guy, I seem to be a knife-guy, which means adding one to my EDC rotation only if it pleases me in every way (a steel that I like, handle-design and scale-texture that I feel would be secure in less-than-ideal circumstances, drop-point, color(s), lower-pain-on-losing-it-price, etc.). But if it has all of the latter, and yet a so-so looking belt-clip, then I really don't feel the desire to add yet another one to my rotation.

Hi David! Hope everyone watching is well. The best company right now for 100 dollar knives and under is S.O.G. Hands down S.O.G has a particular model for about 85.00 bucs that is Terminus XR with a35v. You won't get S35v anywhere for 100 or under. Besides the Terminus there is the S.O.G Flash. The new Flash is really cool and so is the older one. From here I would suggest bidding on a Two Sun knife. Why although I prefer American made knives cause I am a patriot. You cannot deny a well made product. Two Sun cannot be argued with. I have never had a problem with their knives and if luck while bidding you can win a S30v steel knife.

Agree 100%. And it works great with both the flipper and thumb stud.
