Great tutorials, I love Capcut but been told they will take certain information and photos from you? How true us that? The reason I ask, I like to make a family tree video for our family. Would you recommend this for personal images and videos from family events etc? Thanks for any feedback.

I switched from Davinci Resolve to CapCut because DR had way more bells and whistles than I needed. I like the simplicity of Capcut much better although a bit disappointed to learn who the parent co is

Yah it's a pretty nice program for simpler projects. Still, I use it in combination with Davinci Resolve and Premier. It just depends on what project I'm working on. (Also yah hate byte dance)

@@PrimalVideo I have tried the 3 editors on my PC with the same video clip. CapCut - 4 minutes - 1,7 GB file size DaVinci - 15 minutes - 2,5 GB file size - the SSD got hot and ventilation worked hard Filmora - 15 minutes - 2,65 GB I will stick with my good, trusty and easy to use free version of the CapCut!

I love Davinci and will never change but I’m still on the free version so I don’t have access to magic mask.. That’s where CapCut comes in with its AI cutout. Fast easy way to create a video then cut yourself out to place yourself wherever. Very ideal for people that want to put a fake KZfaq studio in their background over sitting in your car 😎

I had Filmora but always found it clunky to use. Was not user friendly and constant updates would change what you had learned. Not recommended.

I've been using Power Director 365 for about three years. It gets the job done for real estate videos, has solid support with their online Help index and email response. Lots of media assets available, too. (TONS!). What got me looking at Capcut was that Power Director's transitions seem to only be available in the 16x9 format. I had a video series I am creating that''s in 9x16, so I started using Capcut. It has everything I need at this point, plus a LOT better color grading tools. I'm probably not going to renew my PD 365 subscription when it comes up next year, about $60.

Sadly capcut can't give more than 4K videos.. my gopro records 5.3K and it's quite sad that the edited videos won't look as good as recorded.

You need a powerful Computer / workstation for DaVinci Resolve. Especially for 3D motion graphics

Same here, though I have a pretty powerful PC. CapCut worked fine and also earlier installed PinnacleStudios latest version. Bit sad that DaVinci won't work...
