Spot on after 6 years. Russia got its pipeline to China, they also got Syria back on track, they got Crimea, and with the sanctions, they allowed their industries to develop without external interference. China has energy and food security from Russia. They also developped the best telecom tech.

Wow woman talking and asking propaganda questions all the way! Russia is not seen as a stable provider??? WTF??? Russia has world's most Gas And Oil! If Russia is not stable then who is more stable??? Its like talking" Russia is seen to have shortage of land" But Russia has world's most amount of land.

Only US and the west have legitimite national interests. Only they have right to conduct military operations outside their borders. Now "the world" (the west) has "isolated" Russia - Putin's visit to India and deals worth of 100B are just evil Russian propaganda, don't believe them. US hegemony means "stability". The exceptional nation. China and Russia are evil and they are trying to destroy "stability". Iraq and Afghanistan are now extremely "stable". /sarcasm

actually if you were not so brainwashed by the Russian state propganda machine you would know that the United States has the most oil reserves on the planet and has the ability to make Russia become bankrupt if the US became hell bent on doing so by ramping up oil production while operating at a loss. Saudi Arabia is currently pushing out oil at a loss with a devastating affect on Russia. Russia is attempting to destabilize the middle east for the sole purpose of trying to push up the price of crude prices so that the Russian government can pay for its military and government expenditures. The US. and the middle east countries that are cognizant of Russia's ambitions for destabilization are attempting to bankrupt Russia and counterbalance the evil intentions that she will cause the world. the Russian government is as evil today as it has been for nearly 100 years..

Yeah! Short term profit FTW! To hell with the planet and it`s odd reaction to fossil fuel use. It does not generate short term profit. It will not effect us anyway. Just our children's children. Fuck the children.

MainsOnTheOhmsRange What is the Australian carbon tax going to do to repair the environment? Lets say we hand over $100B. What are they going to do with that money to reverse or repair the environmental changes? If you think that money and politicians can control the weather and environment with money why isn't China and the U.S paying (the 2 largest polluters worldwide) maybe because they're not stupid and know its a money making scam. You're clearly uneducated if you think Australia can make any measurable difference with only 0.003% of the world population!

At 4:54 "you have to bring modern technology (FRACKING), to compete with US Energy in Germany" "As an investor (Crooked criminal corporations) You can make a lot of money from this (meaning bribing that countries officials and removal of environmental protection policies). Note: he mentions earlier that Australia needs to loosen its environmental protection constraints if it wants to play the 'Get rich off polluting peoples lands scam'.

The Enbridge Energy spokesman talks about fossil fuel energy. This should always be revealed at the beginning and end of each interview or; Propaganda Q&A Session but ithat's rarely done on Financial Media.

Gas price competitiveness and land-locked countries go hand in hand because nothing beats pipeline delivery economically. Hence countries separated by an ocean from their customers are out of the running, because they can only deliver LNG. Its simple as that. Thats why Canada, Australia are out of the Asian market, just like America has no chance with Germany. Exxon Mobile could be the biggest loser here because they invested hugely into LNG technology, only to see that their prospective customers are joining the Russian pipeline one by one. Exxon Mobil might want to consider a merger with Gazprom at this point, or face being a distant second gas producer.

If you have a deal.... where you are supposed to deliver something to someone , be it oil, gas , food etc. An item most people deem as a necessity.... you have to deliver it..( as long as they are paying of course ). You may be arguing and fighting over something else but the items deemed as necessities ... should be mutually exclusive. If you do this.. everyone will happily buy your product...cause you are wise enough not to use it as a political weapon. Some Indonesians were slaughtering Australian cows is a horrific manner... Australia just pulled the plug on the Indonesians meat imports... Crazy...what they should have done....was sit down with the Indonesians and say "the slaughter methods are bullshit... our public wont wear this... you have to help us and crack down on these practices and make a public display and solve it etc". I haven't heard of Russia threatening to pull gas supplies from anyone? have they? ... well anyone that pays that is....

SupaNautica Why was that? Because Ukraine gas transition company already owes Russia millions and millions dollars. They didn't pay - so no gas was delivered. Isn't that ok in business?

Interview (subjects) is too diluted. More unity and relevance to the title of the video I'd definitely would welcome. Especially when a guest claims that the UN its power is shifting away from the US and Europe, then such a bold statement needs more comprehensive explanation. Moving quickly on to other subjects isn't insightful at all.

Trump's rescindment of all agreements let it be Trade, Security/Military or Climate is really for him to demonstrate to the world how good he is in MAKING DEALS, not the subject matter per se. His strategy is this: 1. He will RESCIND ALL DEALS let it be NAFTA, INF, etc - Trade, Military, Security, Environment etc 2. ACT TOUGH eg (re)impose sanctions, increase tariff etc 3. SEND JARED back channel deals 4. SIGN NEW DEALS usually less superior than the earlier deals 5. BRAGS EVERYWHERE from coast to coast and in international forum eg UN, NATO etc on how he has reached the "BEST DEAL EVER IN THE RECORD OF USA HISTORY'', and hope history will record it as such even though the deal is far inferior to the previous deals. Why? What are his motives? Two-fold: (1) to get all the gullible voters/fools to vote for him; and (2) to go down as the Greatest Dealmaker in USA history..... This will be only in USA. The world, however, will look at him as the best presidential clown in the history of the world, better than Idi Amin of Uganda etc. And wishing more of the same or even better from Donny Jr and Eric.... MAGA...... America First (to go down..) Trump's Foreign Policy in short: USA vs Europe USA vs Everyone Everyone vs Saudi Trump luv MBS Jared luv Commissions

I thought I might learn something from watching this video: I did not. Two (2) observations - given that this produced in late May 2014 how could this "expert" not have seen the unprecedented drop in oil prices due to over saturation of supply ALREADY existing in May 2014? and 2. this video seems to be nothing more that a propaganda tool to recruit investors for this company.

China and Russia are both very weak countries. Russia has very little industry and is propped up solely by the sale or fossil fuels. As you may have noticed selling fossil fuels is a very precarious method of propping up and paying for a nations government expenditures. China is very dependent on the evil West to prop up its' export driven economy. China refuses to become a consumer driven economy and if the western economies crumble so will China's export fueled economy. don't be so naieve in believing that if the west falls the rest of the world will not fall. the design of the economies of our modern world have been done in such a way so that if one falls they all come tumbling down.. The government's and economies of the world are so intertwined that if one suffers unfortunately we all suffer.

You will see the result of todays deals and actions in 5-10 years, one example; 10 years ago China was a producing western brands and products, now they are competing with us in high-tech area, medicine, you name it and they are the biggest economy, the biggest market for any product and don't forget that we are still using Russian rockets to get to space, this deals are not good for us in the west, we will not notice a change in the short term, but wait 10 years mate, then we will see the result, they are getting more and more independent from us in any area inclusive the economy!!!
