"I play this all night and come out usually 2k ahead." You're smart. Most folks don't realize that when you learn basic VP stratgy and how to read paytables, VP is a very low house esdge game that can pay off handsomely. I alternate from Blackjack to VP and have done very well over the years. Regular slots, on the other hand, can have a house edge of up to 20% whereas VP can be no house edge to maybe 2 or 3%, depending on the paytable.

@@LadyLuckHQ that dealt Full House of 8's full of 3's comes to my mind at first. You only had 2 hands at 4X; so you should've just kept the 3's honestly seeing Double Double pays a premium for Quads like that. You're making money of every hand no matter what happens. You hit it on one of those 4X spots however, just that one hand alone would've been a hand pay! I'm only 4:40 into the video, more news to follow. 😅😅

@@LadyLuckHQ for starters, the game was Double Double, so Aces rule the day. When you have 2 pair but one pair is Aces, only hold the Aces. 2 pair is essentially devalued except when no Aces. Never hold an unsuited Royal card when you have one Ace. Never hold Ace-10 suited. You didn’t get this but a basic. Lowest holdable hand is a double inside straight flush, so anything else out ranks it. Even a single picture card. Inside straight is OK when no picture card. ie. all low cards. There used to be really good computer then app based training software. But most have gone to be showy not teaching. Also all VP games have their pay table visible. It tells you all you want to know when you understand the differences and each variant is different play. Also games that have spinning wheels and dancing girls are a no-no. Basic simple games are what you want for best pay schedules and no BS. You had luck, heck that’s your name! (If this is Fran or DudeLuck I guess qualifies! Hehehe.) They are more “boring” but more consistent. Off Strip is where better pay schedules could be found, like Red Rock. He’s some full pay examples so you can check what you’re playing and see how bad the dink is. Start with the DDBP you were on, that’s 10/6 FullH/Flush. I bet you had 7/5 if that? Jacks-9/6, Bonus-8/5, DB-10/7. There are many more but most don’t have any full pay schedules anymore as the “Pros” would hit the casinos that had progressive royals and milk the machines like a team. The above was from memory as I just saw it. I’d have to analyze the video again. You did mostly good but I was screaming at the easy ones that were missed. LOL. On a separate thought. There used to be VP “cheat” cards. They had all the possible hands in sequential order and the correct choice. Given they were cardboard they didn’t really get you booted from the casino and no-one thinks any system works. Thing is it’s not a system, it’s a law of averages game and can be learned. They may still be available, maybe Amazon or a not in a casino gift shop or players gift shop. I still have mine but you guys made me like slots. When I played for real I was 99.9995% VP. I kept track and tallied and such. I didn’t play enough to win but when I stopped I was more than even on the cash and had thousands in comps and that was my objective as I was caring for my elder mom and she like Vegas. Mission accomplished. VP can be boring but if you’re winning it’s tolerable. BTW I’m the “MOT” guy from before. You keep me entertained and thanks for that, just less VP so my blood pressure stays good. LOL Joe

@@LadyLuckHQ at 13:31, it's an open ended straight draw. With the multipliers it COULD'VE been better to go for it rather than just hold the Jack. Kinda iffy as a straight is only paying 20 to 1 and you'd need to hit several or hit it on the 12X to profit. With only 10 hands I'd lean towards you guys did the right thing, but if 25 or more hands, I'd say go for the straight no question.

@@LadyLuckHQwhen your playing double-double, just hold the ace unless you have another suited card. You might want to try bonus poker. The strategy is a little easier and you get 10 for 2 pair.
