Thank you so much for this video. I have one of these cutters and while the tool is great, the instructions were pretty minimal. This was a great overview on how to use this thing.

Much better demo than I’ve seen in the Uk , for design work though in LVT I find gundulach 24” with work station attached is better for repeat cuts and custom work which is popular in the Uk at the mo fitted to skirting with no expansion or sealant it’s more compression fit stick down . Good demo though 👍

Great Vid & amazing tool! Wanted to suggest if you haven't already tried it to criss cross your straps on those AP16's ... doesn't look to be falling off on you but I found out they hold on much better that way AND with less tension ... us old guys have to keep the blood flowing wherever we can ;) Keep on keeping on brutha!

Is it possible to do I shaped cuts on this where the width of the u is shorter than the blade say for cutting it to slide under and around a door frame it's seems like this are the only cuts it can't do

Looking for one of these with the light and the handle storage? Yours is the only one I’ve seen with it. Can I get it from the manufacturer like that? I don’t sent that option and it’s not in any of the pictures. Yours send to have better wheels on it too. The wheels on the manufactures website pics look cheep. Your entire unit looks better then what they picture.

I have the 650. The measures on the sides are out. I’ve been told I have to measure back from the blade to set the Bar where needed. Does this seem right to you?

I’m not positive on this but I think they are millimeters, and generally will mark my board and place mine blade on the mark then but my bar against it tighten one side down then make the other side street with the lines on the cutter, I agree they need To have the measurements in inches

Your pro knees knee pads will stay positioned better if you cross the straps ❌ when buckling them on.

How do you cut a 45 degrees on a 1 ft by 2ft lvt it won’t cut the whole tile for me need the trick

I emailed D-Cut Products today regarding their D-Cut LP-330 LVT/VCT/WPC Flooring Cutter, and they claim it will cut SPC Plank Flooring with no issues. But they do suggest you let your SPC flooring aclimate to room temperature for at least 48 hours before you do any cuts lengthwise and they sent me a demo video on how they recommend you perform those cuts I’ll attach the link, it is a little slow to load up though. Maybe Floors by Southern Boys can make a new one for SPC flooring with the D-Cut LP-330 and upload it to KZfaq. dcutproducts.com/video/lpuse.mp4

@@FloorsbySouthernboys Thanks for the quick response! I was hoping to find a cutter that could do the notch and rip cuts with the 12mm laminate. As I don't have a table saw, and am terrible at making straight cuts with a jig saw or circular saw. Since I'm DIY'ing my house with laminate floors, it may just make more sense to buy a table saw instead.

Yes it does cut VCT and it has one of the strongest blades on the market, I have 3 d cut Tools and I have never had to change the blade on any of them, very solid tools

Will this cut 10 mm with the rubber backing on it? Laminated flooring? Trying to not buy a bunch of blades for my Miter saw and table saw. Heard that flooring goes thru blades like crazy because of the backing
