Iino is one of the best additions to a cast after a full season. Even in the manga I was not expecting her to be around as much as she is. And thankfully it is so. She even sounds like I imagined she would when I was reading the manga.

i remember i was so worried when they started adding new main stays to the cast. i guess i was a little defensive because the original trio was such a perfect dynamic i thought that besides recurring gag characters new main characters would ruin the flow. so glad i was proven wrong because i love Ishigami, Iino, Hayasaka, and Maki all equally as i love the OG three.

Things ive learned from this anime: Love is War If things aren't going your way make sure that your childish partially naive but sweet friend is there Dont confess to your crush be smart to make her confess first When you suspect people being horny and ask you to join say that yoir a novice and you'll only get in their way And most importantly dramatic music makes every misunderstanding better

I wouldn't really call it a "guess", since Miko is the one who brought Ishigami's case to that principal, so he already was there when Miko helped him. The only mild guesswork involved is Ishigami helping her, which he could have also seen

11:43 - with the misunderstood situation, it just hit me: Iino was not saying "no" explicitly. She was saying she was a "novice" and was probably thinking in saying she might get in the way. But that is still not a definite "no." Makes sense especially with the current arc. XD

Iino always has been the equivalent of the preacher's daughter stereotype. Goody and moral-- until you peel back the surface and realize there's a little freak in there that doth protest too much. Spoilers: Honestly if she weren't such a tsundere over Ishigami, she might have lost her V card before Kaguya did. Once she commits, she doesn't care lol.

She wasn’t explicitly saying no because in Japanese culture it’s rude to deny someone, so saying that you “lack experience” is a more appropriate response to not do something (Unless in a more bizarre situation like this where you should explicitly say no, but Miko has issues with being able to deny people to begin with)

@@mikerotch2066 The main plotline will be serious, which is vs Shinomiya family arc. As for the other plotline, it'll be about Ishigami and Iino. I honestly want more jokes on this one, seeing so far it's just misunderstanding and him finding another place to call home. The side story will be Fujiwara slowly descending into insanity.

@@Dragonlord826 Ishigami always sent nameless Valentine's Day cards adressed to Iino in middle school so that she wouldn't be lonely, he was seen doing so every year by her friend with the glasses. This was before Ishigami was humiliated in school. Similarly, Iino is implied to have romantic feelings towards Ishigami but still chooses to secretly set up a date for him with his crush. Miyuki is the only one who is implied to be aware of her feelings towards Ishigami. That's why it hits differently after reading the manga.

@@orphen923 Not really. The only reason why Iino has those perverted thoughts is because shes supposed to crack down on them. so she of course will have those thoughts. (And you also have to remember in the anime alone all of the misunderstandings she had to see).
