In theory this might work better now with the class item exotic Run apotheosis/star eaters and swap to Necrotic/claw Bonus super damage, more melee charges and so on... Might work well, but it is a lot of rapid fire steps

The core mechanics of the rotation is pretty simple, if you watch the video it’s good. It fills the gap that I had from starfire nerf lol.

When I started learning it my biggest obstacle was the timing of fusion shots but auto loading holster or other perks like it usually take 3 fusion shots to proc or 2 fusion shots and a reload

You can DPS anything when you switch. It kinda defeats the purpose of a build when you have to switch in-between battles.

I gotta disagree here. Yes switching can be inpractical sometimes but I think that loadouts was added to make things like this possible. There are different builds for different purposes, I myself use switching a lot specially for solo dungeons and sht like that. Then for high lvl end game lik GMs you gotta optimize a "jack of all trades" builds. Its just different scenarios.

@@user-sv2io4km6f No, loadouts were added so that you dont have to spend 40 minutes making the same build again whenever you want to go back to the old playstyle, this was not in anyones mind whne adding loadouts. Its a common practice amongst developers to add QoL changes to the games.

Good weapon for switching solo DPS if you have the gun is Wilderflight - void GL - Spike + Auto loading + Vorpal. It’s fantastic for switching DPS when paired with Retrofit, quicksilver and nova bomb. If you’re running Child of the old Gods, proc that before starting damage or as you do. Switch to GL. Unload retrofit. GL. Nova bomb. Quicksilver. GL.

Unironicly, I do the same point of that health bar you did with witherhoard, bait and switch auto loading edge transit, and autoloading truthteller with ophidians to reload truthteller to reset rotation and a nova bomb

İnstead of swithcing loadouts, how about merciless + strand warlock+apex with recon+bait and switch.. Try it with 2 solar weapon surge and it should be crazy (super - 1 mag of merciless-proc bait and switch 4 apex shots-repeat all over without super)

The apoth veil helmet is pretty solid now, as long as you can build to get your super fairly fast it will help a lot. Especially in hard content rooms with multiple Champs, bosses etc. Spamming threading nades sounds like fun

Curious, are necrotics really necessary for something like this? My menus don’t load anywhere near as fast as yours did, so I’d be sacrificing a lot of damage for the exotic swap, but I’m curious if it’s worth doing or just for that little extra poison damage

What rocket launcher were you using and what was the roll? I get that you shot two rockets because reconstruction, but i dont get how you got another rocket already loaded in after you threw a grenade.

Honestly I don't recommend this build for dps too much anymore. I think other options are easier and just more viable. However, to answer your question one of my aspects on strand (thread of ascent maybe?) reloads your weapon when you throw a grenade.

In this instance I feel like it does because of the amount of ammo in the mag that envious gets you, plsu reservoir's damage increase being good as well. I don't have any hard numbers to back that up though.

I was shown this a whole year later Just letting people know, with the release of The Final Shape and the new Exotic Class Items, you can get Star-Eater and Apotheosis veil at the same time, possibly making this stronger

I can 1 phase that boss with a marshmellow, no need for all that jazz too much over compensation. We need simple builds that are strong when ur with other players. Any solo run takes time and multiple phases. We don't have to kill bosses like we're in the movie cranked

Yeah, unfortunately this got nerfed as well so it's not as viable anymore. I found it to be a fun rotation but simple is also good.

You can’t technically equip 2 exotics at once which watermans wasn’t explaining to you. You’re still capped at wearing 1 exotic at once. However, there is a new exotic class item in the game that basically rolls with two exotic perks on it.

He does the switch while doing super animation. You're not doing anything anyways while stuck in Super, so he's at least saving some time doing that. Loadout swapping is end-game viable. It's how some people solo Raids encounters/bosses, so it's def viable. It's just a skill gap kind of tech.

What would you use in place of it in this situation? Saying something isn’t worth using and giving no other option or reason is unhelpful and unnecessary. I don’t have a Cartesian. This is the best thing I could get otherwise since it’s craftable and has good perks.

I agree switching loadouts is a little rediculous, but you can still do this dps rotation without switching loadouts. As shade072 said, it gets the job done.
