I've got 4 of the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 2. Serious waterproofing, long battery life, very portable, takes a beating, and love how you can easily pair them.

I think JBL and UE are the industry leaders in regards to "life-proof" speakers. Can't really go wrong with them.

I had a wonderboom 2 and the second it touched water it decided to die slowly, it made loud popping sounds all night too so I switched to JBL and got a bunch of JBL Speakers probably too much actually and every single one has been in my pool multiple times, they’ve been in rain and sand and they all still work and sound way better. It’s also nice how each different speaker has a unique feature like the xtreme 3’s strap or the pulse 4’s lights. They also charge from usb c which is also better, the battery is better and just everything is better.

For anyone who doesn't know --- Bluetooth doesn't work well underwater so that's more than likely the reason the speakers that sank stopped playing for a bit before reconnecting to the phone

They don't really shutdown they lose the Bluetooth signal in the water its harder for the waves to make it through when you press play the reconnect and play

One thing you might me missing is the thought that you can hear these under water while lap swimming. That would be pretty cool. This became my thoughts when recorded and underwater shot of one that plays pointing down and left the audio... or so it seemed.

This was by far the best waterproof speaker test I've seen! I am needing a new wireless speaker and I am leaning towards the Soundcore Flare 2 or one of the JBLs. Keep the videos coming bro...🙌

The wonderboom 2 is a very good speaker, my cars radio is busted so I just bought one in place of it. Sounds great, battery life is good for the most part, tbh I just forget to charge and it be annoying when it’s dead in the morning

In your opinion from testing out many bluetooth speakers do you have a recommendation for something more along the musical genre of 80s pop, rock/metal that would have great clarity and can handle volumes to keep up with an amplified electric guitar that is going through a computer to jam along to songs on youtube

Great video, I have a question. I have used the JBL clip 1st gen for many years now. It's not waterproof, so looking for one that is and also louder, so I can use it everywhere. On the go, by the beach, holiday, BBQ, travelling (in the car and taking to places). But my budget is £50 / $57 max. Can you recommend any?Thanks brother 👍🏼

So which one is the best sounding for you? I think I’ve heard the JBL extreme 3 and it seems the cleanest sounding (bass wise)of all in Best Buy along with some nice SQ! Not the loudest but I’ll take SQ anyday!

I know everything there is to know about all those speakers but I must say UE wonderboom 2 which I have amongst my collection before watching your video should be the toughest in the most waterproof okay I'm ready to watch your video now to see what you say keep up the good work you're my favorite along with like six other reviews but the Sony XB 43 it's supposed to be salt waterproof and rust proof but I certainly wouldn't want to drop it

The WonderBoom is a pretty good all around speaker. aesthetics, form factor, durability, size, volume and battery life are all it’s pluses. My only small quibble is the bass. It’s a smidge on the weak side. Not a deal breaker though when you consider it’s my go to speaker for outdoors. If they up the bass on the next iteration of the WB I’m going to be the first in line to cop.

Probably the JBL Flip 6. It checks all the same boxes as the WB2. With that said though I forgot to mention in my initial comment another feature that I like about the WB2 and that is it’s multidirectional. The Flip 6 is not

@@mowglimowgli4971 i just bought the Tribit Stormbox original (shaped like the Flip 6) and it has substantially better bass than the WB2 (i own the WB2). So if you want something on a budget thats almost as good as Flip 5 then get the Tribit Stormbox. But yeah Flip 6 is the best overall.

Awesome comparison, if you had to pick one speaker for under $100 to be waterproof and have a decent battery what would you pick? To anyone that has watch this video for more than the first minute and didn’t like it why not? It’s video goes above and beyond majority of all the other reliability test that I see

Even the new mini’s sound much better than the originals. They redesigned the t6 mini completely. T7 mini now and. The groove 2. I’m liking all 3 of these releases

See the xb43 Bubbles it filling up with water! Get it out the water quickly! Ir test for 5 mins that'll die with them bubbles proving its filling up with water! It was a good video! I tested the xb43 to jbl xtreame the other day the jbl xtreame 3 just blew it out the water lol so buch more bass!

Doesn't the wonder boom have that outdoor mode button on the bottom? Put that on when in the water see if make a difference with the 360 sound! Jbls pulse 4 is bad for letting water in surprisingly!

I had a wonderboom 2 and it fell in the pool and stopped playing and did loud popping sounds all night long so I replaced it with a jbl charge 5, jbl pulse 4 and jbl xtreme 3 they all sound really good and I’ve tested them all in water and they all just floated and worked. I still listen to them through partyboost to this day

On the speakers that had the metal grills you did not have to dry them out but the ones that had the fabric grills then you did

I believe it's also called a cocktail pool. That's why it has the bench going all around. We didn't want to consume our entire backyard with a pool, so we had this built. It's perfect for what we wanted.
